Valentine Shine!

Namaste Divine Shine Valentines!
I greet you in Love this Valentine’s eve turned day ~ Happy Valentine’s Day! We have lots of Valentine & heart celebrations @ famlit.tv and here on our New Thought Families Mindful Multimedia page including the Divine Shine Valentine Om HomETV show. Our February Heart of Love video calendar is playing to remind us daily to be home in the heart of Love. My mind and heart are stayed on the freedom of big Love; the ‘Always Love’ referred to by Earnest Holmes that I put into song some time back and return to often, especially on Valentine’s Day. For while the holiday is indeed a celebration of couples and romantic love, it is a spotlight on Love itself, what it means and what it brings. And what we bring to it. I embrace it as a joyful holy day even though I am not coupled.
I did an active meditation on the word Valentine as Love in action:

It is fully explained in the Valentine vlog @ New Thought Families if you want to spend some heart shine time with me. You can also do your own heart exploration meditation with these words or whatever words, concepts, visions, come to you.

However you celebrate Love on this and every day, may you know yourself in the heart of it. Thank you for your divine shine, visionary Valentine! Namaste, Love!

Being The Dream!

Namaste Divine Dreamers! I greet you this Thoughtful Thursday in a place of peaceful balance as I allow priorities to inform my actions and disallow the sense of overwhelm and not enoughness I know too well as informant. You could say I am employing Unity tools of affirmation and denial to bring me into harmony along with a whole host of other tools from my Transformational Toolbox!

So! I return where I left off here on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Monday, drawing from a talk I gave wherein we explored Unity principles, which again, I must say are universal principles! We looked at ourselves as divine dream of the One Presence (principle #1) and spent time being with ourselves as divinity:

In the infinity of divinity and beauty created on this planet; magnificent life forms as tall as mighty majestic mountains and as small as miniscule mushroom mitochondria supporting all of life, so are we created with this same magnificence. Look at your hand or any part of your beautiful body now and see the wondrous Love you are created of. Be with your body, any part of it or all of it and feel yourself as this Love you are created of here and now ~ experience your body with Love, appreciation and celebration! Let’s sing it!

I Am! The acknowledgment and affirmation that we are Spirit, The metaphysical meaning of I AM denotes our oneness with Source. Created in Love, we are this Love and goodness expressed as stated in Unity principle #2, I am good, we are good, made in the likeness of our Creator, each of us embodies divinity. Sometimes or perhaps often times, in the wake of distraction and forgetfulness, we don’t see our divinity and beauty. We may not even see it in the beauty that always surrounds us; in our loved ones, spouses, children, parents, pets; in our food sitting on dishes crafted for us and our nourishment, beauty smiling at us from the tree outside our window, or from clouds in the sky or the colors there that begin and end each day. Beauty and goodness is indeed all around us and inside us even if and when we forget to notice it. All too often, we take beauty, divinity, creativity for granted! We forget who we are and where we are; beautiful divine miracles able to co-create our reality, co-create our dreams and callings into reality on this multifaceted dreamscape of beauty and abundance where we live. Even those of us on a conscious path are only aware of so much. Generally we take (too) much for granted, we don’t think too much about the very essence of life that animates our bodies ~ the breath! Our breath keeps our bodies alive of course yet it is also one of our greatest transformational tools! We all know to take a deep breath to calm down and many of us have practiced different breathing patterns in yoga and other teachings. Let’s center now with our breath as we breathe in the goodness and beauty of who we truly be. With or without this song, breathe deep now into the essence of the beautiful dream you are created of.

an you see yourself in the mirror of your mind with only eyes of unconditional Love and appreciation? Deepen into that appreciation and awareness of the beauty of your body temple, your spirit home; keep breathing beauty down deep in your depths, breathe your truth, you are a blessed breath. While the busy distractions of the world may call us away, we can always take a mindful moment to breathe (our) beauty. No matter where we are and what’s going on, we can always take a beautiful breath, a deep breath of our beautiful depths.

Unity principle # 3 says that we co-create our reality with our thoughts. Thoughts held in mind produce after their kind. This includes all we feel and believe. This can be the place where our dreams give way to a different “reality”; the one that surrounds us rather than the one inside us. When we think about the life we dream of, do we know it as possible or do we make alterations based on what others or society may say is not easy at best and impossible at worst. We know that impossible is also ‘I’m possible’ with the Spirit I Am of our being if we so choose it. Still most folks I know including me have dreams that are subject to a long list of compromises. Many dreams become ‘rationalized away’, some dreams are completely forgotten. Can you recall a forgotten dream now?

From the song When Dreams Die Â©1994 Laurie Story V
Where do dreams go when they die?
Do they live in salty tears that dreamers cry?
Or do they float to a home where hope can make them fly?
When dreams die, where do they go? Does anybody know?
Since I wrote that so many years ago, I have come to know there are many, many places dreams can go including into the divine order of alchemy and sometimes better, bigger dreams. If we live long enough, there’s usually at least 1 pretty big, aha, ‘ glad I didn’t get that’job, person, house, whatever, that you once thought was so perfect! And there is also the aforementioned dreams that we never realize due to arguing for our limitations. Just as we can forget or divinity, we can diminish our powerful creativity to create our dreams and visions. We are created out of Love AS Love to express Love! Acting on our dreams is a way we express the Love we are made of. Consciously, unconsciously, with divine grace, we are indeed the cocreators of our lives including how and if we manifest our dreams. Unity principle #4 says that we use cocreation manifestation tools like affirmative prayer and meditation.

Through spiritual practices, we do stay anchored in source and centered in our truth of beauty and goodness. We can use affirmations and denials. I love using the word CHOOSE to help me align with these tools and keep the words, intentions and vibrations positive, especially when I am needing to transition from a negative or low place like feeling lonely or unsupported, “I choose to know that I am not alone. I choose to know I am surrounded by Spirit and that I am loved and supported. “ In these positive denials and appreciative affirmations, I usually shift my feeling and vibration quickly. Words are so powerful! Along with prayer, meditation, denial, and affirmation, there are so, so many transformational tools like the breath and visualization, all of which help raise our vibrations of Love and Peace and goodness. We know that raising our own vibration also raises the whole planet’s energy and can even help those who are suffering next door or around the world! The vibration conversation is, of course, an important one in our evolution! In the wake of this moment’s unification conversation, we take note of how embodying our divinity does indeed ripple out to the world. Which brings us to the 5th and final Unity principle:

With this, we return to the truth of our beautiful breath selves and living our dreams. We remember to be anchored in Source, to breathe our beauty, to dream, to use our transformational tools to align with the shine of our divine design, to be and live the truth of the dream we were birthed to be.

No matter where we are planted and who we are with, we can and will keep listening and trusting our own divinity and creativity, unified with Source and our divine essence. We choose to stay anchored in this omnipresent, ever present presence, breathing our beauty, living from this place, able to reset into our beautiful depths in any moment. We can, will, do, use our transformational tools to know our dreams and live them. Aligned with Source and highest good, we raise our vibrations and send this blessing out to raise the consciousness of humanity. Together, we dream and we rise, living the dream of the Love we are created of. And so it is!

PS
I am sharing the dream in Leaping Literacy Library with a spotlight on Panda this week! The gentle giant is a beautiful breath of beauty gracing the planet for the last 8 million years! Once a carnivore, now Panda only eats bamboo and reminds us to sit peacefully and chew on our blessings! Namaste, Love!

Living The Dream!

Namaste Dreamers and Peacemakers!
Greetings on this holy day holiday celebrating the great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.!
Let us listen to his melodic voice from his “I Have A Dream” speech as well as some song inspirations in this ETV segment playing in our Leaping Literacy Library ETV:

Here are lyrics from another one of our songs honoring Dr. King:

I gave a talk yesterday at the Unity Spiritual Community, Citrus Heights touching on Dr. King and inspirational others yet mostly focused on each of us as divine creation, breathing in the beauty we truly be. Today I will share a few points and power point slides from the talk as well as lessons learned DOing the talk!

The usual custom these days is to have a video recording of the talk yet apparently the FaceBook live stream ended up being a Zoom view of one of the participants rather than us so it was deleted. I am still hoping to at least hear an audio of it.
(1/18 Update! For any on FaceBook, the talk I speak of in this post did post there!)

Yet! Herein lies so many more spiritual lessons! I will leave it at 3:
1. Trust the divine order of ALL, paying attention to what the ALL might be saying at any given time! The main trick in doing this with an appreciation celebration is to release expectation of how things “should” be rooted in the knowing that it is ALWAYS for the highest if we let it be. And! Knowing we are always flowing with what we allow and can ALWAYS keep choosing what we allow!

2. There were several people yesterday both live and on Zoom who expressed their gratitude and blessings from hearing my musical talk. Their heart felt kindness expressed, reverberates in me especially if a wondering of, “How was that?” creeps in. The lesson here is, it is ALWAYS great to express your appreciation of another!

3. Back to divine order paired with discernment. I spent a lot of time and energy on doing the talk experience and it was a wonderful one in so many ways. Yet! It necessarily means other important projects in my world were put on hold. My ongoing sorting of prioritizing my callings is SO present and real ~ AlWAYS!

In the same way I talked at other churches and performed in schools and libraries for so many years with no video or audio records, I get to sit with what the experience was. I think the biggest thing I “messed up” was showing my power point slides in the right places 🙂 and I was guided to print them into my paper copy of the talk and just got too tired and outa time to do it! It was a small thing while I mastered a big thing by delivering the talk, mediation and songs pretty darn close to the prescribed time. No small feat for me! Though of course, I was working with all things possible, divine flow Source. I could ‘improve’ my presentation by not talking about these ‘flubs’ during the talk yet that’s me, always my heart on my sleeve. And perhaps it makes me and the whole thing more real ~ there is that crazy thing called reality as a part of living the dream! I loved being able to use the prepared talk to keep me on (timing) track while I left plenty of what was written out and allowed Spirit to say some of those written words and plenty that weren’t actually on paper, as such. A fun flow of divinity, creativity, and functionality!

SO! The spiritual lesson here is to fully allow the goodness of what was and sift that through with trust! Trust your callings and dreams ~ always and in ALL ways!

So! How about sharing a bit of the talk here and now?! I began with a song and meditation to center into Source, to allow “Peace breathing me”.

From this centered place, we began the unification conversation. There were many points from the talk I could make here yet since I have blogged on about the experience of doing it, let’s be with the first part of it and I will return with more over the next few weeks. Among other things, the talk was an overview of the 5 Unity principles, each of which is a talk all their own! As I approach the anniversary of New Thought Families as a .com, this process is great for my discernment and commitments for this space going forward. Leaping Literacy Library spiritual family literacy resources continue on ~ no matter the name! After all, Unity principles are at their heart, universal principles!

Oh yes in the center of the Circle of Life is our ever present, omni present Great Creator! The 1st basic Unity principle is that there is One Presence, One Power, God the Good. We come from this Source, by any name, breathed into existence with this Love of Creation. Could it be that our very lives are born out of our Creator’s dream? The one Presence had a dream of us! The mighty essence of creation had a dream to Love more, express more, BE more Love! To be yes Love expressed AS US! Perhaps at the very heart of what it means to live the dream is to acknowledge that WE ARE the dream! In this way, we can step away from the cynical meme when we say we are ‘Living the Dream’ because we are indeed, in the truest sense living our Creator’s dream of us as Love expressed, divinity expressed, creativity expressed. Which brings us naturally to Unity Principle # 2. Next week!
Namaste beautiful breath of Life expressed!

PS. Here’s some old recordings of the 2 songs I opened and closed the talk with!
~ Currently here in our Library ETV that is always streaming commercial free!

Let There Be Peace

Greetings of Peaceful New Beginnings! Happy 2024!
A year to dream more while we alchemically explore what has gone before!
Here is a New Year’s vlog speaking to the circle; a return to Music Camp, coming home, December blog absence, and alchemical song of life ringing on. Found here!

Yes, I continue to sift, sort, situate all aspects of life ~ peacefully! I will be doing a talk for Unity Spiritual Community on 1/14 entitled, “Living the Dream: A Co-Creation Unification Conversation. I will also share it, at least in part, here. In this right now, new day, new year moment, I pray for peace. For each heart, and the heart of humanity, I pray for peace. We are created and rooted in unconditional Love that knows and abides by peace. My prayer is that all beings will continue to evolve and embody more and more of this essence. Here is a singing prayer, a kind of a meditative chant, for Peace. I sang it last night as the clock and calendar turned. I continue to sing it as we embrace this new start. Within ourselves, each of us, and all of us nationally and globally. Peace, let there be peace … Found here!

As I keep releasing and breathing Peace, I am updating the Leaping Literacy Library structure including this blog, more on that soon as our new year unfolds. For now, I simply, again, wish you Peace. This is from the ‘peace tree’ decorated in my front yard. Peace, beloveds, Peace, from my heart to your heart, heart by heart we unite and ignite more and more peace on earth.

November Transcendence of Abundance

Namaste November Remembrance of Transcendence Abundance!

Wherever you are in your dance of transcendence ~ from resistance to abundance, I greet you this 1st Sunday of November with persistence. I meet you here with more mountain juju from Silver Lake and Thunder Mountain. After the Pioneer morning music program, I returned to my beloved lake spot and was able to explore the exposed islands usually covered in lake water, now with layers revealed.

I strolled through the layers of sand, plant life, tree roots and lava rocks originally a part of the great Thunder Mountain. Once a volcano, the mountain’s boulders can be found at her base as well as miles away. Large reminders of how we scatter pieces of ourselves throughout the journeys of our lifetime(s).

The gifts of this moment, this day, this place, were remembrances of the vast abundance of life as well as the layers of depth accessible through our awareness, free will, and choices to be in the positivity or negativity of our experiences. I was inspired to vlog; I share the mountain beauty as well as honoring the land and our Native Americans and their wisdom, along with sharing some thoughts on healing, transcending trauma, taking sacred steps and choosing how we frame our stories.
I invite us all (on the site Blog page) to keep transcending any and all negativity anywhere in our circle of time as we root into the truth of who we truly be:

And so it is that the beauty of our planet is always here to help us realign with the shine of our own divine design! In addition to being in nature’s beauty, we can turn to native wisdom, in an honoring of all they know themselves and this earth to be.

In addition to the vlog reflections, this new month comes with renewed cyber invitations; our daily Play & Pray ThanksLiving CalendarETV shows on Abundance, Appreciation, Gratitude, Feature Creature Teachers like Pumpkin & Turkey and lotsa Gratitude Songs! Through the layers, we journey on!

Whatever gifts that layer your table this November, may you ever remember the bedrock of your divinity, cradled in it’s infinite capacity to love you and dance you through any and all layers of your transcendence. Namaste, Love!

October Circle of Mystery Awareness and Guidance

Namaste Blessed Faces of the Divine!
I greet you merry mid-month, living and loving Mystery aligned shine! Since our beginning of the month, have you been experiencing your alignment of being full, free, and happy in the Divine ~ aka The Mystery?! Any new awareness’ as the commotion of the world always offers opportunities to tune our navigation? Remember, as co-creators, we always choose our point of attention and attraction! Here’s my playhouse altar this day & my feet altar in the backyard sand turtle which is always issuing transformation conversation invitations!

I am celebrating new Halloween segments and re-mixed Halloween ETV shows too, wooooo hoooo!

And I’m celebrating YOUUUUU! Thanks for being here! Thank you for being a conscious co-creator on your journey through the sacred! I am also celebrating my broken ankle anniversary from last weekend so what follows here is a brief travel log, some takeaways from this year’s healing journey, and some updates on the web offerings & ongoing content for your consideration. Ah, to be in the circle!

As the mountain aspens brilliantly glow, change is in the air beckoning us, as always, to be the alchemists of our co-creations. For my part, I am still sifting through a lot of birth and death, with a deep gratitude breath in all of it!

Last weekend, I celebrated the 1 year anniversary of breaking my ankle coming down the mountain. The miles between the break and the car were painful and set the stage for a long winter of being off my feet. The moments and hours before the fall were full of bliss and glee; enJOYing the 8,000 ft. elevation with friends, beauty, and high mountain vibrations. In a snap of a second, seemingly thrive turned to survive. It was a slow hobble down with some prayer, affirmation, song all employed as transformational tools tempering the physical & emotional pain. I have been back up there twice before this summer yet did not do any serious hiking. This anniversary trip was also not one to hike though it was filled with serendipitous experiences of comfort and celebration in deep appreciation of my healing.

I had a morning music program with the littles. I recently returned to doing early childhood music and movement programs ~ a piece of my work I had previously retired ~ set up shown below with owl friends in the playhouse being perched for the trip. I drove up the mountain after the morning program and parked myself for a bit by beloved Silver Lake. The sparkle was intoxicating, the wind chilly, and as beautiful as it was, I could not sit still. Not motivated to hike yet stirred to move.

I travelled further up the mountain and was struck by the aspen splendor. I was reminded of divine timing and guidance as I breathed in their beauty I had not consciously thought of earlier. My inner GPS was certainly in the know though so I followed along the divine flow raptured by their golden glow …

My intuitive flow took me to the Hot Springs where the sign said they were full. I went ahead and asked anyway and the beautiful young woman working ushered me in. We had a lovely Owl connection, she had an Owl tattoo, I ended up giving her an owl stuffy friend and a CD for her young daughter. Beyond the outer chatter, we had a divine appointment connection ~ you know, when you just feel aligned in a moment of time?! The mineral water soak was glorious! I later had a great mermaid swim, ah!

I was travelling with my peeps on the other side so of course I drove into Nevada and actually had a prime rib dinner, whoa, thanks dad! Unexpected flow yet it felt good, nurouishing, as I was thanking my body for healing this year; broken ankle and broken heart ~ our bodies are always delivering messages from our heart. I centered then and now on the deep appreciation I have for the way my body has healed, continuing to bring me a deeper connection with the information our physical is always transmitting vibrationally to our mind and spirit. I was able to walk my talk, even when I was crutching, in that I chose to predominately heal myself. I was blessed with a fine chiropractor who helped with alignment and monitored the break with x-rays. It took at least 5 months for the bone to come back together and I still am in a healing, feeling dance yet the come and go pain is very minimal. It did re-awaken lots more awareness of the chronic conditions I have had since breaking my neck, now more than 40 years ago! Whaaat?! So let’s begin there with some awareness’, aka lessons learned. Yes, many say this is an earth school giving us lessons. I say all we experience is for our soul expansion, however we term that! Here’s a short list of experiences, remembrances, awareness’ that perhaps can (re) awaken something in you!

1. What do we tolerate day in, day out, that is chronically painful or numbing?
Sometimes these situations can bring us ‘wake up calls’ yet more often it seems we ‘put up and shut up’ allowing for a life experience that is unnecessarily diminished or compromised. Of course our comfort zone can keep us ‘comfortably numb’ one way or another and only you, in alignment with your wise heart, knows what you are tolerating that is calling you to the dance of transcendence.

2. How good are you able to allow yourself to feel?
Unfortunately, that comfort zone set point often leaves us unconsciously only able to feel so good. When you are feeling deep happiness and contentment, does it feel like home? Are there any ‘waiting for the shoe to drop’ thoughts or ‘accidents’ to snap you out of it? If so, can you compassionately notice & choose happy anyway?!!

Some of the mountain still stands in charred testimony to raging fire destruction.

4. Are you at peace with death knowing there is only always a circle of life? Yes, of course we all will ‘die’ to this body temple and journey on at the appropriate time for our soul’s next chapter. Yet, there are so many other deaths in this circle of life! Relationships, circumstances, work and play places where we put our energies. As humanity evolves, chaos and death are part of the process. Can you partake in the process choosing to turn and return to peace, acceptance, unconditional Love, rather than struggle and suffering? It is always a choice. Really.

5. Do you take sacred steps on your journey with heart eyes wide open to the ever present omnipresent presence of the divine? All the time? Part time? Any time?
One of the gifts of being off my feet was the hyper awareness of my steps and the ability to deepen the experience of sacredness through slowness. We live in a fast paced society that values top speed. I have always wanted to be in the fast lane. Aging and injury can bring the gift of slowing down and I do indeed see more of the glow when I allow the flow of slow mo. Aho!

My Thunder Mountain last weekend in gorgeous glow!

In this month’s celebrations of the Mystery, our multimedia page is changing every week. Owl Awareness flew off today to make way for Bat Intuition. Both of these Feature Creature Teachers have many lessons for us in human navigations. You can find Owl on our Sacred Awareness page, Yes, woooo hoooo, I took today to publish the 1st of our looooong planned Spiritual ABC pages being revised and re-instated in our Leaping Literacy Library. Blessing that mess along with all the rest! And!
In keeping with today’s list, I could no longer tolerate the wait list on this, I am naming and claiming the good in the progress, unconditionally loving librarian me, allowing for the period of death and the new sacred steps. YES, blessed!

Thank you again for being here! I will return 10/29 with a Samhain celebration blog and vlog. May your Mystery awareness practice continue to bless. Namaste, Love!

August Promise: Flowing and Knowing

Namaste Sacred Yes, Love Expressed!

I greet you late day this Sacred Sunday in a grateful allowance of promise after promise! I speak to the challenges and celebrations of being me in this week’s video vlog sitting (via technology!) by the sea. I speak of my pervasive patterns and ask what is in you, waiting to be honored. There is an invitation to sing with me; my little mermaid song that speaks to what it is to live in divine flow:

I Am A Mermaid ©2021 Laurie Story V

I am a mermaid in the ocean of life
flowing like water, playing like an otter,
knowing like a daughter of the sea
free, free, free,
musical, magical mermaid me

How are you flowing with your sacred truth? What are you doing to play and honor that all important child and playful spirit that lives in you? What are you knowing; mystical, wise child of creation? In your flowing, play, and knowing, you are FREE! You are free to be Love expressed as the divine shine you truly be!

The playful, prayerful video vlog @ New Thought Families has the mermaid song with some video footage of the sea and a meditation invitation. You can also just go there with these words and your imagination. Sit right down and hear the waves in your mind. Drop into the space in your heart and soul that is always longing to bring you home. Home to yourself, home to the One, home with the whole. Listen to the rhythm of the waves coming to shore. Always in the flow, sometimes high and sometimes low. Yet always home. Our seas are such a masterpiece of divinity and so are we, my friends! Namaste flowing knowing of divine shine!

August Promise: Sacred Awareness with Honor and Reverence

Namaste Shining Souls! I greet you with grateful reverence for the gift of your presence here and now. I honor this moment and the blessedness it holds. It is our joined consciousness with these words that ignites this awareness of the sacred. Sacredness is inherent in all of life yet it is our awareness that helps manifest more of its magnificence into our experience!

Honor. I have been meditating on this concept for a very long time as I honored my aging parents and elder relatives, their transitions out of this world, the belongings they left behind. I have watched what those ‘belongings’ did to bring out the worst in people and cause such separation. I have been lied to and lied about in the process. It has been a deliberate decision to keep the majority of this process private while allowing the pain to allow more of my soul’s purpose in being here to manifest. And yes, always a (messy) work in progress!

To honor or dishonor, like all else, must be filtered through our evolving perceptions. I clearly see, personally and collectively, how each one of us has our own perspective on what is true and what it means to honor truth. We can honor ourselves, our callings, our families, ancestors, country, or anything else we deem of great value worthy of our respect. And reverence.

To bring honor even deeper into manifested mystical mindfulness, we can approach any aspect with the appreciative awe that is reverence. I find it requires a slowing down ~ sometimes even a break like my ankle! ~ to really allow awe to be present in our daily consciousness as the blessed gift it is. We have the capacity to see this life with the eyes of wonder, the appreciation of awe. When we do that, moment by moment, we honor who we truly be and the infinity of blessedness we are indeed gifted with. Such is sacred awareness; a blessed way to live and give in the circle of life and time!

And so it is that in the August promise to myself and any of you kindred souls who are here as compassionate witness ~ thank you! ~ I choose to reverently honor all that calls, especially the unfinished business I have said no to. I am choosing a sacred yes to the blessed awareness that says to honor the sacredness, simply by turning, and returning to Love!

For me, that is sharing the July vlog I did about Feather’s Camp below. I think it was too raw for me at the time I spoke it to put it out. Which is an important point in the honoring circle of time; sometimes no is the best we can do and when we allow things to incubate and heal, we can and will transcend the doubt and fear that so often fuels the resistance to the sacred yes.

I left the vlog content complete with the tears and snot yet took a fair amount of time adding footage of the snowy camp and some pictures from past Feathers’ Camps. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all the beautiful souls who have gathered with me! And those who did so much work to keep up with my creativity and add bountiful gifts of their own! I honor all that has been with such a deep appreciation and reverence. And I have had some real grief in letting it go though I knew I had to do so for years. I also know Camp is likely to be reborn in a different form in the future forward of the Circle of Love. Taking the time to be with it all has been a transcendent experience. For so many years, I would do pre-camp videos from the mountain, so the July posts were in part, old habit I suppose. There is much more on the way here this August Promise, regarding honoring and alchemizing the old and the new in the Circle! Again, always a process of sacred awareness! You can hear the alchemized shift in the vlog that I make with transcending the pain into oneness awareness in the Circle of Love.

Whether or not, you take in the vlog ~ which is actually shorter than most I post 🙂 ~ here are a few bullet points for you to ponder in your own lives no matter how messy or magnificent they are in this moment:

  1. Where in your heart is there pain?
Pain is always an invitation to healing and transformation. Can you have a conversation with your pain and/or your higher self, Source, angels, the divine of any kind to help you transcend?

2. What are the happiest memories you can bring to the painful situation?
We can choose to sift through any memory or ongoing circumstance to see the good, and honor that with our appreciative attention.

3. What are the happiest memories you can bring to the painful situation?
Can you use the alchemy of happiness and sacredness through seeing with the eyes of your soul that only knows radical acceptance and forgiveness? In this place, we are steeped in the reverence of divine order’s perfection.

I am breathing that in myself as I post this Sacred Sunday Something and dive back into the wondrous world of whales! Still some serious work play to employ this sacred Sunday to launch the new week of ETV tomorrow with Feature Creature Teachers Whale, Narwhal, Dolphin ~ ALL whales! I am finishing the new Laurie StorEBook Nana Narwhal’s Knitting, singing about Sophie James who rides on the tail of a whale, making a recycled plastic whale speaking (again!) to the unthinkable trash in the sea and so much more, yippee skippee, such is the play way of ETV! Below is a picture of the whale dress I painted yesterday plus one more ‘discarded’ July vlog thought on Freedom from (Feathers) Silver Lake!

Whatever is calling your heart this moment, let the sacred reverence of your soul help inform you. Be in the quiet with nature, a journal, a creative flow with song or paintbrush, or anything else that calls you into reverent awareness. If it is your wounded heart that calls, be with her in soothing acceptance and forgiveness for any circumstance. Choose happiness through alchemy’s transcendence. Such is the gift of freedom, going backward or forward, it truly is one sacred circle of Love. Thank you for having this conversation. In so doing, you raise your vibration and that of all of humanity. Blessed Be!

Transformation Conversation

Namaste Change Agents of Inspiration! Thank you for tuning into this transformation conversation. I welcome you along with mama moth and her eggs on a garage window slated for cleaning ~ now postponed for gestation.

This week brought an interesting encounter with the ‘real world’ outside of the bubble I live in most of the time. I was called for jury duty. I arrived 8 minutes later than call time finding a room full of waiting faces so solemn I almost laughed at loud. More than an hour later we were called into the courtroom where the general questioning began. The case entailed the freedom of an adult who wanted to be in charge of their life vs. the county who said they needed conservatorship of this individual. The preliminary questions for jury selection covered experiences and opinions of topics like mental illness, medications, doctor authority. I was struck by several things; the first of which was my own trigger and potentially cloudy lens from my parent’s dementia, especially my mom and the arsenal of drugs the doctors had her on. Life can definitely shine a light on dark shadows that still need healing! I truthfully said I would do my best to hear both sides yet I did favor personal sovereignty and the patient themselves over the professional doctor, who spends moments with a patient and all too often runs on a pharmaceutical paradigm I don’t subscribe to. There was 1 other woman, more outspoken than I about how her mother was being mistreated currently with medications and the health sick system yet everyone else who was a perspective member of the jury of ‘peers’ were on board with dr. knows best, 100%.
Where things got really eye and heart opening were the questions, “Can you make this decision solely in your mind without emotional input?” “Can you make a decision without compassion for the individual in question?” I was not asked so did not say aloud that we have an internal GPS that helps guide our way with emotions and that compassion is an important tool in seeing and helping each other. I did not say that humanity is being asked to evolve at this time into embodying our oneness awareness and heart intelligence with compassion and intuitive feelings being such important tools in this transformation! It was just so clear the box of brain knows best was the only acceptable answer and thereby the only acceptable peers for that jury were those living in that box. Though it took me a day or 2 of assimilation, I was able to get over the depression these realizations induced and perhaps most importantly, revisit the ‘lack of belonging’ feelings that can be triggered by my life journey of choosing to live outside the ‘normal’ box. This process brought me to revisiting Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and ultimately turn IT upside down!

Maslow’s Theory of Motivation through a hierarchy of needs was presented in a paper in 1943. He asserted that when the basic levels of breath, food, water, elimination, etc. were met, then came the need for shelter and safety followed by the need to belong in family, community, etc. From there came the sense of self and self esteem leading to the self actualized individual who accepted themselves and others without critical judgement. Beyond acceptance, it is also the desire to reach our full potential, and cannot be reached without the fulfillment of the other needs according to Maslow. In 1969, Maslow expanded the needs adding cognitive and beauty stimulation above self esteem and transcendence above self actualization. This is to transcend ego and self into holistic, oneness spiritual awareness.

Because we are spirit beings inhabiting these physical bodies, I thought we should flip the hierarchy! When we are rooted in knowing ourselves as spirit, as connected, as one, we are living the truth of who we truly be, self actualized expressions of Love! The more we are accessing this mastery, the more we are aligned with our soul’s purpose in being here. From this place, we are secure in who we are and have a sense of connection and belonging wherever we are. When we are living with this resonance and vibration, of course all of our physiological needs are met. Any and all things we need for survival, safety, and growth easily flow. We are in harmony with ourselves and our world.

What struck me later, when actually making the above visuals, is that the placement of belonging does not change! Belonging is also Love; a necessary element to live, thrive, give, receive, grow, know, and be!

I speak to the above from my front porch in the vlog here which is a transformation conversation revisiting the reconstruction zones of home and my (oh so close) neighbor’s home. The vlog speaks to the gifts of awareness, construction, small acts of change, serenity prayer, and the ever present cycle of transformation always unfolding in and through us ~ with or without our consciousness!

Join me @ New Thought Families for the vlog, and more blog transformation conversation with some home renovation. You can also add your voice here ~ what is changing for you? What small or big transformation inspirations are you experiencing ? Join the conversation and celebration of the ever present, omnipresent presence of transformation! Namaste Love!

Transformation Of Becoming: Pollination Celebration

♥️ Namaste Yes Blessed Love Expressed ♥️

I greet you in the name of awareness and blessedness as we all continue to show up for this time in our humanity’s and in our planet’s transformation celebration!  Still in the midst of Covid19 suffering, sacrifices, confusion and needed solutions, we as a nation and in fact, as a global family, are called as never before to creation, co-creation, and re-creation. Even if we are kicking and screaming with resistance, the gifts of this pandemic include a persistence and insistence towards change. Transformation can be painful yet it doesn’t have to be. It is, after all, part of how we are naturally designed.  Inevitable change is a celebration when we are divinely aligned.
Spring continues to bloom here with birds, butterflies, bees, bats all doing the dance of pollination. It is a divine order dance of interdependence that calls us to grateful awareness, as recipients of the beauty and bounty this dance produces for our very life here on this planet home. Pollination is also the perfect reminder of how we impact each other’s lives and society as a whole with our every thought, step, breath.

Like all of earth’s inhabitants, BEE is an excellent Feature Creature Teacher to show us the divine order beauty of how all of life is made. From our Flower Power Leaping Literacy ETV show & our Flowers & Bees Power Point, prayerfully consider the following:

While so much of our insistence of resistance caters to an economic model of well being, nature reminds us ~ when we stop to be aware and take care ~ that our chosen normal is literally destroying our planet home!

We have known so many inconvenient truths for decades; how habitat destruction and use of plastics for instance are literally causing part of the harmonic balance of our planet home to collapse. Giving our time, attention, and energy to this or any and every other sign of imbalance in our personal, societal, and global lives is an act of pollination. We can pollinate the truth! We can pollinate wise stewardship! We can pollinate Love! ~ ♥️

Ah yes, pollination, like all else, begins with us. What do you pollinate? For my part, I continue to shift so many aspects of my life and callings; priorities, time management, focus, creations, co-creations, and re-creations. I have birthed the long time vision of Leaping Literacy Library ETV with 9 episodes in 2 months. It is a beautiful time of more self discovery and opportunity for self mastery as I face off with engrained limitations and embrace the celebration of embodying more of who I came here to be 🌈🦄🌈 with as much Love and Appreciation as I can in any given moment. Yes, I am extremely blessed. Yes, I am challenged in many ways as we all are. Ongoing responsibilities for my elders. My college age Jeremiah is back home with classes online and that has yielded many gifts and challenges ~ like a new sleep cycle! Our Student Author Program necessarily moved online and sadly has meant being ‘ghosted’ by some of our kids/families when they were so close to their book completions! The whole process is a glimpse into what teachers are going through and it is a huge undertaking for them and for the families in this moment of time. My hope is that, again, there can be long needed reform of creation, co-creation, and re-creation in the educational system. That this new ‘normal’ will at least keep the ongoing conversation of transformation going.

When we look to nature’s transformations, we can be heartened by the miracles of change. From the metamorphic life cycle of a butterfly or the way a snake slides out of an old skin, we can loosen our grip on the notion that we must get back to ‘normal’. In the beautiful, rural place I live, there is a definite resistance to social distance and the guidelines of Covid19. The reality here is playing out much differently than in other, more populated places in the nation and the world. Yet! We are all one family and this pandemic calls us all to change. I have had to revisit and seek to compassionately transform huge waves of judgement for my local neighbors, family members, (lack of) national leadership, and society at large as part of my personal metamorphous of this time. I spent a good little while asking the Creator how (s)he could stand us as a species. I continue to marvel at the capacity of our Creator to love us all unconditionally and compassionately all the time, no matter what!

Indeed! We can and do trust our Creator, trust divine order, and trust the truth to transform us! Our New Thought Families daily Play & Pray May Calendar is set on this trust of Transformation. The very act of trust is an expression of expansion and of course expansion is the naturally occurring outcome of transformation. And for all the moments we can’t see or feel our good, we can look to the beauty of this world and affirm our own embodiment of it!

Our power points noted here for Flowers & Bees as well as Bugs & Butterflies are available on our Leaping Literacy Library Free Shelf:

Our Leaping Literacy Library ETV show on Bugs & Butterflies is on it’s way in the coming May days. Our Flower Power ETV show has a whole segment on bees followed by a pollination celebration and it is currently playing. Here is a song excerpt from that show. I wanted to write this song my whole life so I did! It honors and celebrates, our friends, the flowers.

Thank you, thank you for being here with me this mindful moment in the circle of time. Thank you for the beautiful, transformative flower face of YOU and your beauty! May we continue to turn and return to divine center in a celebration of the transformation that is the expansion and expression of the Love we are born of. Especially in this moment of  rebirth, for humanity and for earth, we can be the positive pollination of Love’s transformations. Namaste Love!
