Glad Greetings this Mindful Monday! We are celebrating Spring ~ Equinox 3/19, Easter 3/31, Palm Sunday hailing Holy Week and dad’s 2 year departure date anniversary, 3/24. Whew! No wonder this post took me more than a minute. I vlogged and blogged most of this on the 24th yet it took well into the 25th to get here. So! It’s here and NOW so let’s hop to it! Thank you, thank you for joining me; let’s be wHOLY centered in this celebration circle of Life!

November Transcendence of Abundance

Namaste November Remembrance of Transcendence Abundance!

Wherever you are in your dance of transcendence ~ from resistance to abundance, I greet you this 1st Sunday of November with persistence. I meet you here with more mountain juju from Silver Lake and Thunder Mountain. After the Pioneer morning music program, I returned to my beloved lake spot and was able to explore the exposed islands usually covered in lake water, now with layers revealed.

I strolled through the layers of sand, plant life, tree roots and lava rocks originally a part of the great Thunder Mountain. Once a volcano, the mountain’s boulders can be found at her base as well as miles away. Large reminders of how we scatter pieces of ourselves throughout the journeys of our lifetime(s).

The gifts of this moment, this day, this place, were remembrances of the vast abundance of life as well as the layers of depth accessible through our awareness, free will, and choices to be in the positivity or negativity of our experiences. I was inspired to vlog; I share the mountain beauty as well as honoring the land and our Native Americans and their wisdom, along with sharing some thoughts on healing, transcending trauma, taking sacred steps and choosing how we frame our stories.
I invite us all (on the site Blog page) to keep transcending any and all negativity anywhere in our circle of time as we root into the truth of who we truly be:

And so it is that the beauty of our planet is always here to help us realign with the shine of our own divine design! In addition to being in nature’s beauty, we can turn to native wisdom, in an honoring of all they know themselves and this earth to be.

In addition to the vlog reflections, this new month comes with renewed cyber invitations; our daily Play & Pray ThanksLiving Calendar, ETV shows on Abundance, Appreciation, Gratitude, Feature Creature Teachers like Pumpkin & Turkey and lotsa Gratitude Songs! Through the layers, we journey on!

Whatever gifts that layer your table this November, may you ever remember the bedrock of your divinity, cradled in it’s infinite capacity to love you and dance you through any and all layers of your transcendence. Namaste, Love!

October Circle of Mystery: Ancestor Awareness in the Circle

Namaste Blessed Awareness in the Divine Design Circle!
I greet you at the end of this Mystery month, as we near Samhain, aka, Halloween. I remain in a deep clean of my work webs, ever rejoicing for the gifts of life. I am surrounded in remembrances of my ancestors who are illuminated now at Samhain.

Ah, the time of year where ghosts, goblins, tombstones, giant spiders, all appear in people’s yards as decorations with Jack-o’-lanterns, initially constructed to ward off evil spirits, now elaborately stencil carved ~ all of it in the name of fun.

Here, on this web space, we play with Spider, Pumpkin, Cat, Cat, Owl, as Feature Creature Teachers with much to say about how we are the co-creators of the web of our own lives. Our fun is to align with the shine of our divine design!

Spider is being integrated on our Oneness page for a visit in any season! She joins our other Feature Creature Teachers of the month, Bat, Cat, Owl, and Pumpkin,
in the backroad wrap up vlog that also speaks to nature and the ancestors found on our New Thought Families Blog page.
Nature is indeed always our great healer, teacher, preacher, and soul reacher, speaking to us of earth’s rhythms and seasons and also always offering beautiful sacred ground to stand upon ~ barefoot if you can! The Mother Earth is always providing us a place to anchor and ground for more wellbeing. She is also always whispering of all who came before, and are still here now in the circle.

It is said the veil is thinnest this time of year between here and those who have gone before us, oft referred to as the dead, they are simply not in bodies among us anymore. Their Spirits live on and are available to us to continue our relationships, just in a different configuration. People often receive signs from their loved ones on the other side ~ pennies, butterflies, anything of meaning can bring a meeting of heart and mind. Most often, our departed loved ones are held in memories rather than direct presence interaction yet any medium can tell you, their loving Spirits certainly are among us should we choose to experience them. In meditating on how I wanted to speak to this today, a new song was born! It is an invitation into conversation and inspiration with whoever comes to heart and mind.
Brand New Song: Ancestor Circle is playing on our Blog Page

I mention my mom and dad, aunt and uncle yet I have friends I also visit with regularly. My dear Renee gave me a Tinkerbell travel mug and I often speak to her when using it. Today was a special event for Faith, the matriarch of the SF Folk Music Club and I really felt her reaching out ~ literally through the voices of a few club members I haven’t connected with in a while. Faith and Ranger Bob, both gone from here 10 years now though they, and others, are still friends I visit with. Of course ancestor visits are necessarily different than human to human interactions yet Spirit relationships are real nonetheless. I have been experiencing them my whole life and am the richer for it, to be sure. This way of being has also eased some of the pain experienced in the transition we all go through when a loved one makes their transition to the other side. A huge part of having these Spirit relationships is doing what we can to honor what they left behind, sometimes the actual physical things that require us to be their hands and feet for incompletes. I have had a heaping helping of this from multiple peeps and it has made me all that much more inspired to take care of as much of my own accumulation as I possibly can. Having relationships with those on the other side is a huge inspiration to live fully while here. I am currently embracing life as if I have another 30 years or could go tomorrow. Truth is, that is one Mystery question most of us don’t know.

These Ancestor Treasure, Vintage Voices are playing on our Blog Page and @ famlit.tv

And so it is that I bid you a sacred Samhain, and take leave of you with these ancestor voices. May your holiday be fun and may you also connect with a dear one or ones on the other side if that calls to you. Thank you for answering the callings of your heart and for sharing this moment in the circle with me. Namaste, Love!

October Circle of Mystery

Namaste Mystery’s Love Expressed,
I welcome you and your wise heart of reflection, here on this 1st day of October or in whatever divine appointment moment of this connection. We now join in the circle of the changing season, the heightened awareness sitting between illumination and darkness, oneness, ancestors, birth, death & rebirth, the balance of all in the circle, and the discerning wisdom of the witch. Witch, of course, meaning wise one in touch with the wisdom of the earth and all creation in the circle. I center in my inner witchy wisdom in today’s vlog:

Yes, the season of the witch is upon us! And it is high time we honor the truth of the witch as wise woman. As I sang in the vlog, we do indeed welcome the wisdom! Here are the lyrics and Mp3 Song (download!) of the Welcome Wisdom song found on my Timeless Spirit A-Z CD. On the recording, I am singing and playing with extra cool guitar added by the CD’s young and talented producer Cameron Lawson. Also, on the site in music video honoring all the wise women past, present, and future.

While we all have powerful inner wisdom, we don’t always tap into it. In fact, all too often we forget it is there and/or we really only turn inward for guidance when we are feeling lost or in pain. More often, we seek our answers from anyone else besides ourselves and our higher guidance. From this naturally human place of conditioning, we may consider The Mystery as a puzzle to be solved or perhaps never understood. While there are aspects of the mystery beyond our comprehension, we have an ongoing invitation into being with this divine flow of inspiration and supportive co-creation.

If you have been a visitor to this New Thought Families’ website anytime since its’ inception in 2007, you most likely encountered the anonymous audio, eventually turned video, of The Mystery. It is an endearing, simple, and profound invitation to BE the Mystery and to live full, free, and happy! After all these years, it still speaks to my heart and I hope it does to yours as well:

rom this place of being the mystery, all the imperfections melt into unconditional Love. My ever lovin’ looooooooong list as usual got partly done for this 1st of the month and on a later timeline than what I had planned. I had some intense tangos with the dance of resistence this week as well as the OMG overwhelm yet I made new inroads in my Library work and my inner playground of who I be. Definitely messy and I choose to embrace the chaos of creativity with the compassion of divinity. I choose to see, know, and affirm my progress even if it is less than what I had hoped to be sharing in this meoment. No need for the blah blah deets because I am living my divinely expressed Mystery ~ choosing to experience this life as full, free, and happy! I will share the part of the calendarization that is done that shows the themes of our explorations this month.

There is rotating content spotlighted on our multimedia page currently featuring the Om HomETV show The Mystery and the full segment with Feature Creature Teacher Cat. We are revisiting the brief daily invitations to play and pray with the Mystery in everyday ways on our October calendar!

For you, the wise one reading this, here’s an extra invitation for you:
Watch the flow of the Mystery in and through you and all you do.
What makes you feel free, full, and happy?
How can you realign with this consciousness when you or anyone else would act in ways that would have you forget the Mystery? Finally, can you simply just BE in the Mystery allowing for all that is there in any given moment?! Blessed BE!
Namaste, Love!

August Promise: Flowing and Knowing

Namaste Sacred Yes, Love Expressed!

I greet you late day this Sacred Sunday in a grateful allowance of promise after promise! I speak to the challenges and celebrations of being me in this week’s video vlog sitting (via technology!) by the sea. I speak of my pervasive patterns and ask what is in you, waiting to be honored. There is an invitation to sing with me; my little mermaid song that speaks to what it is to live in divine flow:

I Am A Mermaid ©2021 Laurie Story V

I am a mermaid in the ocean of life
flowing like water, playing like an otter,
knowing like a daughter of the sea
free, free, free,
musical, magical mermaid me

How are you flowing with your sacred truth? What are you doing to play and honor that all important child and playful spirit that lives in you? What are you knowing; mystical, wise child of creation? In your flowing, play, and knowing, you are FREE! You are free to be Love expressed as the divine shine you truly be!

The playful, prayerful video vlog @ New Thought Families has the mermaid song with some video footage of the sea and a meditation invitation. You can also just go there with these words and your imagination. Sit right down and hear the waves in your mind. Drop into the space in your heart and soul that is always longing to bring you home. Home to yourself, home to the One, home with the whole. Listen to the rhythm of the waves coming to shore. Always in the flow, sometimes high and sometimes low. Yet always home. Our seas are such a masterpiece of divinity and so are we, my friends! Namaste flowing knowing of divine shine!

August Promise: Sacred Awareness with Honor and Reverence

Namaste Shining Souls! I greet you with grateful reverence for the gift of your presence here and now. I honor this moment and the blessedness it holds. It is our joined consciousness with these words that ignites this awareness of the sacred. Sacredness is inherent in all of life yet it is our awareness that helps manifest more of its magnificence into our experience!

Honor. I have been meditating on this concept for a very long time as I honored my aging parents and elder relatives, their transitions out of this world, the belongings they left behind. I have watched what those ‘belongings’ did to bring out the worst in people and cause such separation. I have been lied to and lied about in the process. It has been a deliberate decision to keep the majority of this process private while allowing the pain to allow more of my soul’s purpose in being here to manifest. And yes, always a (messy) work in progress!

To honor or dishonor, like all else, must be filtered through our evolving perceptions. I clearly see, personally and collectively, how each one of us has our own perspective on what is true and what it means to honor truth. We can honor ourselves, our callings, our families, ancestors, country, or anything else we deem of great value worthy of our respect. And reverence.

To bring honor even deeper into manifested mystical mindfulness, we can approach any aspect with the appreciative awe that is reverence. I find it requires a slowing down ~ sometimes even a break like my ankle! ~ to really allow awe to be present in our daily consciousness as the blessed gift it is. We have the capacity to see this life with the eyes of wonder, the appreciation of awe. When we do that, moment by moment, we honor who we truly be and the infinity of blessedness we are indeed gifted with. Such is sacred awareness; a blessed way to live and give in the circle of life and time!

And so it is that in the August promise to myself and any of you kindred souls who are here as compassionate witness ~ thank you! ~ I choose to reverently honor all that calls, especially the unfinished business I have said no to. I am choosing a sacred yes to the blessed awareness that says to honor the sacredness, simply by turning, and returning to Love!

For me, that is sharing the July vlog I did about Feather’s Camp below. I think it was too raw for me at the time I spoke it to put it out. Which is an important point in the honoring circle of time; sometimes no is the best we can do and when we allow things to incubate and heal, we can and will transcend the doubt and fear that so often fuels the resistance to the sacred yes.

I left the vlog content complete with the tears and snot yet took a fair amount of time adding footage of the snowy camp and some pictures from past Feathers’ Camps. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all the beautiful souls who have gathered with me! And those who did so much work to keep up with my creativity and add bountiful gifts of their own! I honor all that has been with such a deep appreciation and reverence. And I have had some real grief in letting it go though I knew I had to do so for years. I also know Camp is likely to be reborn in a different form in the future forward of the Circle of Love. Taking the time to be with it all has been a transcendent experience. For so many years, I would do pre-camp videos from the mountain, so the July posts were in part, old habit I suppose. There is much more on the way here this August Promise, regarding honoring and alchemizing the old and the new in the Circle! Again, always a process of sacred awareness! You can hear the alchemized shift in the vlog that I make with transcending the pain into oneness awareness in the Circle of Love.

Whether or not, you take in the vlog ~ which is actually shorter than most I post 🙂 ~ here are a few bullet points for you to ponder in your own lives no matter how messy or magnificent they are in this moment:

  1. Where in your heart is there pain?
Pain is always an invitation to healing and transformation. Can you have a conversation with your pain and/or your higher self, Source, angels, the divine of any kind to help you transcend?

2. What are the happiest memories you can bring to the painful situation?
We can choose to sift through any memory or ongoing circumstance to see the good, and honor that with our appreciative attention.

3. What are the happiest memories you can bring to the painful situation?
Can you use the alchemy of happiness and sacredness through seeing with the eyes of your soul that only knows radical acceptance and forgiveness? In this place, we are steeped in the reverence of divine order’s perfection.

I am breathing that in myself as I post this Sacred Sunday Something and dive back into the wondrous world of whales! Still some serious work play to employ this sacred Sunday to launch the new week of ETV tomorrow with Feature Creature Teachers Whale, Narwhal, Dolphin ~ ALL whales! I am finishing the new Laurie StorEBook Nana Narwhal’s Knitting, singing about Sophie James who rides on the tail of a whale, making a recycled plastic whale speaking (again!) to the unthinkable trash in the sea and so much more, yippee skippee, such is the play way of ETV! Below is a picture of the whale dress I painted yesterday plus one more ‘discarded’ July vlog thought on Freedom from (Feathers) Silver Lake!

Whatever is calling your heart this moment, let the sacred reverence of your soul help inform you. Be in the quiet with nature, a journal, a creative flow with song or paintbrush, or anything else that calls you into reverent awareness. If it is your wounded heart that calls, be with her in soothing acceptance and forgiveness for any circumstance. Choose happiness through alchemy’s transcendence. Such is the gift of freedom, going backward or forward, it truly is one sacred circle of Love. Thank you for having this conversation. In so doing, you raise your vibration and that of all of humanity. Blessed Be!

Transformations Through Transgressions

Stand Together For HumanityNamaste Holy Heart of Humanity!
I greet you in the name of divine order right timing after a summer away from this sacred space. It has been a summer of surrender and creative birthing in the midst of 2020’s turbulence and suffering. Like you, my heart aches for social justice and for the pain of so many adversely affected by humanity’s insanity, the global pandemic, political lies and division, and the ongoing health crisis’ of our Mother Earth. It has been a smokey three weeks here in California as a reminder of beloved redwood forests and homes still burning. It has been another season of elder care for my dying parents with such strong Spirits somehow sustaining their failing bodies. It has been six months of my Jeremiah living back home and once again preparing to fly off for his third year of college, living just off campus with his buddies as planned last February in their signed lease. It has been a summer of seeing the power of small wonders. It is now another September of softening sun, equinox balance, and seasonal release. Centered in grateful oneness with all of this and more, I anchor in sacred remembrance with you now in this miraculous moment. Seeing Through Eyes Of ReverenceAs Tolle and other spiritual teachers speak of, there really is peace in this still moment. The ability to see life with reverence is a transformational tool that brings us into the present moment, into our grateful, wondrous heart, and away from, or at least a step removed, from the constant overwhelm, exhaustion, and dramatic suffering all around and perhaps inside us. In peaceful Presence, we are able to more readily forgive and accept the transgressions of ourselves and others. Remembering that the word sin means to miss the mark, and that all things can be viewed as on purpose ~ even ‘mistakes’ ~ we can forgive and accept, even the transgressions that appall us most. Life is full of transformation, always, and in all ways. 2020 has given us a powerful dose of unprecedented change that has left so many in deep pain. And so we pray for their comfort and resolutions; we pray for peace and for perspective. We pray, with feet on the ground and in motion, for justice and sustainable change for the most vulnerable among us who are hardest hit. We prayerfully align with what ours to do with the visionary spotlight of 2020. 2020 Vision
And so it is that I offer you now the latest and upcoming invitations from all that is mine to co-create for children and families, for holy humanity. At New Thought Families, we continue our daily resource for remembrance; the daily Play & Pray Calendar where we are revisiting our year long calendar, For Humanity. Today is the 247th day of 2020 and your playful invite is to wrap yourself in rainbows! As reported last spring, our biggest creative adventure is Leaping Literacy ETV web shows that will be coming weekly this September! And! After saying ‘no’ to Spirit all summer (never a good idea!), this Sunday, we begin our weekly OmHomETV. These Spirit centered weeklies are playful, prayerful offerings to build spiritual family literacy for families and (inner) children of all ages!
In keeping with stepping more fully into the spiritual family literacy work of New Thought Families, I will be here on Thoughtful Thursdays to help re-anchor our weekly spiritual practices. It is not lost on me that my own special brand of humanity insanity is to create (so much!) content and seemingly have not have any who participate. So! I begin again with renewed discipline ~ discipleship ~ to consistently show up and invite any and all who are called to spiritually play and prayerfully practice.

Family Literacy TV
Our hindsight process of sifting through literally decades of content production is an ongoing process to produce purposefully with clear vision; a life’s work that goes on and on! Our Transformational Summer’s Reverent Reverie of Resources remains on our Leaping Literacy Library Free Shelf through Labor Day, 9/7. Join us there! You can also just visit our family literacy tv page directly:  https://familyliteracy.tv/
Now! Jeremiah and I are headed back to the studio today to finish the next CD, Circle Of One! The young and talented engineer, Cameron Lawson who recorded our last 2 CDs, We Are Called and Timeless Spirit is doing this one too. What began last fall with the ‘leftover’ songs from We Are Called is finally being finished. No transgressions, just divine order transformations!

As for you, my holy hearted friend, I hope whatever you are going through is something you can ultimately be lifted up by, like the phoenix rising from these ashes of alchemy. The feelings of despair are real and should be honored yet I believe we can keep inviting in new, higher energies to repair and help us release into our highest expressions of all the possibilities that live inside us and all around us. This transformation is indeed the biggest of our lifetimes yet we are wholly supported by the holy heart that created us. May you reverently remember the sacredness of who you are and all that is as we rise from any notion of transgression into inspirational motion of transformation. Thank you for being here at this revolutionary time of reflection and resurrection. Rise and fly! Namaste, Love!

Sacred September Equinox

Namaste Sacred Remembrance of Equinox Balance & Beauty!

I greet you in this Spirit of equal night & day, dark & light, movement & stillness. I breathe in the divine order beauty of how this world is made with you now on this Equinox day, marker of time, center of beautiful, balanced, motion and stillness. For us here, north of the Equator, we are embracing the harvest and winds of change whispering of approaching winter.
For all of our brothers and sisters south of the Equator, Happy Spring!
As some plant new seeds and hail new blossoms, we celebrate the swirling descent of leaves leaving the trees as  animals like squirrels remind us to prepare for the winter. As the days in the southern hemisphere grow longer, ours grow shorter until we reach the longest night in three months. In another expression of balance and Tao, our beautiful planet simultaneously holds space for the planting and harvest.
We can heed the lessons of squirrel and prepare ourselves, stocking up on the acorns of our lives that we will nurture as they sustain us through the dark, cold winter months. The winds of change in sacred September are soft, sometimes subtle, yet definitely beckoning us to heed nature’s urgings to prepare.

This Equinox weekend brought millions of young people around the world, feet to the street, for change. Awareness and action for climate change. Greta Thunberg, sixteen year old activist from Sweden, is at the center urging us all to listen to the science as powerful and real. Folks in Sweden do. We are in the midst of the 6th mass extinction of the planet, this time caused by human pollution and environmental disruption.

Our youth and our planet are calling to the sacred essence of the best in us. The us that listens and acts with respect and reverence. Sacredness is the awareness that can change our denial into action.

This Equinox, may we individually and collectively come into more awareness and action, belief and balance, consciousness and connection to ourselves, each other as global family, and to our incredibly beautiful planet home. Here is a sacred Sierra moment from this weekend with a waterfall prayer:

Thank you for being here as the divine drop of balanced goodness you truly be, a blessing of balanced harmony. Namaste Love!

Reverent Remembering

Namaste Reverent Remembrance of all that is good, wise, and Spirit revived!
Thank you for being here in what is a return to Love after an absent August; I greet you with a grateful heart for we have both shown up in this sacred September moment for our divine appointment. After all, showing up is most of it, hugh?! Yet! The how and why we show up is all about the remembrance!
Every tool in our transformational toolbox leads us to our roots; tethers us to the Spirit beings we are inside these bodies, families, communities, humanity. Our connection to the Great Spirit is the elevating force that opens us more and more to the divine beings we truly be. As we experience our divinity, so we open the eyes of our hearts to see the divine everywhere present in this beautiful creation we are all a part of. Rooted in remembrance, we reverently travel the route we came here to travel.
Remembering!
As our ‘I Remember’ song from the Trust What You Hear CD sings, “There are so many things to remember, sometimes I forget … (insert list of forgotten things!) … I remember who I am. I’m a child of God born to Love and serve in all the best ways I can. When I look down deep inside of me than I truly understand. I’m a child of God born to Love and serve, I remember who I am!”  It sings better than it writes, so do give it a listen! The point is, in the midst of all there is to remember in our day to day busy-ness, anchoring in remembering who we truly be is essential to embodying our divinity in all the moments of remembering and especially in those of forgetting!
Forgetting!
As we age, we tend to forget. We joke about ‘senior moments with the seriousness increasing for some into  dementia, ‘old timers’, Alzheimers which of course can be so painful for family and loved ones living this journey with those experiencing it. Our brains are incredible and it is disconcerting at best when memory or cognitive functions slow or fail. Our hearts and other organs also hold memory and more of the vast complexities of this are being studied and understood through such things as organ transplants whereby organ recipients inherit inexplainable desires from the organ donors!
Today’s awareness of forgetting and invitation to remembering is more about the indwelling Spirit and how issues of the heart, aka pain and trauma, can lead us into a hardened heart that takes us out of our ability to live life in reverence, awe, grateful joy. Babies and small children remember. They delight in the world around them moment by moment. Instead of learning from them, we actively train them to be of this world, to forget! And oh this world is so set on forgetting! Shiny objects everywhere, we can forget why we first logged on to the computer, much less remember who we came here to be.
Active Remembering!

Honoring, rituals, and holidays are important markers of remembrance. The first Sunday after Labor Day ~ this year September 8th ~ was set aside by President Jimmy Carter as Grandparent’s Day. Memories of our ancestors as well as important people in our lives and society help shape who we are individually and collectively. Having our kids remember, honor and celebrate our elders and each other fortifies the Circle of Love that is family and humanity.
Interfaith Inspirations
Grandparents DayChristianBaha'iBookWorm
Our New Thought Families’ Inspiration page highlights some of the Interfaith holidays and remembrances each month. Sometimes the intersections are fascinating. This September to remember, the 8th is Grandparents Day, the Christian celebration of the birth of Mary, the beginning of the tenth month of the Bahá’í year, ‘Izzat meaning “might”  and (always) International Literacy Day. While literacy is the ability to read and write it also means a knowledge or competency of a certain subject; i.e. financial literacy or spiritual literacy. It is certainly an important and motivating remembrance for us here at New Thought & Creative Spirit Families!
ChristianityJainismHinduEthiopiaZoroastrianism
This Thursday, September 12th is Unity’s Annual World Day Of Prayer. The 2019 theme is Infinite Presence ~ Unlimited Potential And the affirmation is: I celebrate the vast possibilities for my life. Prayer is the ultimate lifeline to remembrance! The 12th is also the last day of the Jain Paryushana Parva festival that is a celebration of the natural qualities of the soul whereby Jains practice forgiveness and actively reach out to family with cards and letters. Hindus celebrate Anant, Ethiopia a new year, and the 4 day Ghambar Paitishahem festival celebrating the creation of earth and the summer harvest begins for the Zoroastrians.
Every Day is a Good Day to Remember & Celebrate the Infinity of Our Divinity!
When we go through rough patches of personal and collective life as we have been experiencing on various levels for all of time, we do well to remember the beauty, harmony, divinity within us and all around us. Some of the best alignment tools are prayer, gratitude, forgiveness. Nature offers us an endless expanse of beauty and inspiration. Hug a tree or look up to the sky for Spirit renewal!

Elephants Never Forget!
It’s true that elephants have amazing memories and have been studied to show that they always remember each other even when separated for 20 years or more. They are also one of the few species with grandparents, specifically grandmothers often stay with the herd and when they do, it greatly increases the fertility of the daughters and the mortality of the young. Feel the grandmother Love! It is indeed, the Love that is the remembering.
It is Love that brings me back here and into an ongoing realignment with what is mine to do for spiritual family literacy. For years this was a weekly blog and in most recent years, monthly at best. For the rest of 2019, I will be here weekly. A new resolution for (dis)continuation will be set for 2020. For this right now moment, I leave you in celebration of Love, in remembering the Love we are and came here to be. On the Leaping Literacy Free Shelf are celebrations of remembrance and family ~ sing Remember Sacred, I Remember and Family Of Love!
We have returned to the intergenerational voices and invitations to SMILE on this month’s daily Play & Pray Calendar. Smile into the truth of who you are in this remember September moment! A beautiful, smiling memory! Thank you for smiling with me. I do smile with you as we collectively remember the Love we truly be. Namaste Love!
