Vibrational Vision

Namaste Visionary Vibration of Vitality!

This transformational Tuesday is a vibration celebration! It is all too easy to forget about vibrational energy even though it is running 24/7 co-creating our lives consciously or unconsciously. Vibration is measured by some like Dr. David Hawkins Scale of Consciousness. On Hawkins scale, 0-1000, 500 is unconditional Love which is a high(est) state to attain to for most. 1000 is pure enlightenment. At the bottom of Hawkins’ vibrational scale of consciousness is shame:

Most of us live in certain flux of emotional isness using our transformational tools to bring us into more alignment with our highest and best (feeling) selves. The lower frequencies like guilt and grief simply don’t feel good and make for a negative experience of life. The more fear based our lives, communities, nations, the further from Love and living in higher consciousness we are. Vibrate HIGH! Because we operate so much of the time in a relative unconscious state, listening to high, vibrational frequencies is one of the¬† best ways I have found to live more Love. YouTube has a plethora of these frequencies for free from peeps like Elke Neher and channels like Meditative Mind and ZenLifeRelax who has one of my favorite Love frequencies played here:

I love the power of these frequencies to bring us home to Love. As vibrational beings, we naturally align with vibration so as the Obamas always said, “Go high!”

In bringing our consciousness higher, visioning is a powerful tool that helps us see our way open up. When we act on those higher callings, we are voicing our vision in the ways we show up.The picture above is a vulture from today’s Play & Pray Calendar at New Thought Families:
The Play Invitation reads:
Visit your inner vulture today to voice your vision! Vultures are birds that clean up messes that many other animals will not touch. Vultures often eat animals that have died and are just laying on the ground or road. In this way, vultures help with the full circle of life. So! Look around your own life and deep in your heart for anything that needs cleaning up or needs to be brought full circle. Find creative ways to voice the vision of what you find … words, song, art, dance, or any other expressions. How will you voice the vision that calls loudest to you?!

Shout out to the vulture! And! Case in point that in the full circle of life and vibration, clean up and rev up go with the territory!

My own home front is full of mess as I prepare to move. I am faced with the too muchness that is me and has become my state of ‘stuff’. I am constantly reframing instead of blaming and shaming myself for the accumulation. It is actually a sacred time of re-evaluation and VISIONING where I am headed with all this stuff and why I collected it in the first place! I am letting my inner vulture have a good time with the clean up ūüôā !

Though there is strong argument against, I am simultaneously doing at least a bit of this in my online world of the Leaping Literacy Library as I try to prioritize some time and offerings. I’m not so much for traditional Halloween yet am offering some different takes on it with special daily bonus giveaways on the Free Shelf.¬†Today’s special was all about the mystery. I pulled a Mel & Nell Laurie StorEBook out of the long ago archives regarding history as a mystery ‚Ķ told by ‘they’, ‘who are they’?! The ABC Mystery is AHmazing alliteration and the Spirit inspiration celebration I have loved for so many years, The Mystery ‚Ķ playing here and now!:

Whatever media or other experiences you bring in, moment by moment, day by day, they will surely have an effect on your vibrational field. We are made beautifully with an inner GPS to ever guide us home to Love. Remember, whatever you feel, you are vibrating and radiating into the world. So keep visioning, seeing, being the Love or above of beautiful you and attract the same mirrored back to you! Namaste, vibrational, vibrant voice of Love!

Utterly Fearless Universal Love

Namaste Unified Breath Of Love Expressed!

I greet you this Transformational Tuesday a bit breathless from my recent dance with fear. Fear! AKA the absence of Love. While I have recognized a presence of subconscious fear within me for some time, it is not often it surfaces so acutely in my day to day.

While there is plenty in the collective to tap into, this creation is solely mine. In the work of this week’s transformational tool, ho’oponopono , a Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness, everything, inside and out, is our creation. It is our responsibility to live it as Love.

“The purpose of life is to be restored back to Love , moment to moment.”
~ Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len

Dr. Len famously cured every patient in the criminally insane ward of a Hawaii State Hospital without ever seeing a single one. Whaaat??! He sat with their charts and repeated, “I’m sorry. I love you” and one by one, each patient was cured. The full ho’oponopono has 4 statements, I’m sorry. I love you. Please forgive me. Thank you.

Dr. Len has a website with wonderfully wise writings. In his ‘House Divided’ article, he writes:

“A house divided against itself cannot stand. This is true for nations, communities, organizations and families, as well as for individuals. In the House of Humanity, the individual is the common denominator. When the individual is divided, the house is divided.

In the game of tennis, the scoring system is Love, 15, 30, 40, game. The game begins with Love. In the etymology of the word, Love is no score, no stakes, nothing, to take the individual back to Love to nothing, to wholeness.

The process achieves this by voiding anger, fear, blame, resentment and thinking from poisonous thoughts, toxic energies that divide the mind, the house of the individual, causing it to fall to dis-Harmony and dis-ease.”In my own dance with fear, I actually didn’t use ho’oponopono though I will moving forward! I worked with my guides and angels, the Healing Codes for (un)forgiveness and came to as much self acceptance and self Love as possible. In this ongoing dance, I am happy to be reminded and encouraged to use this Hawaiian wisdom.

In the above referenced article, Dr. Len gives another valuable tool I am going to try:
“Here is a thought cleansing tool that anyone can apply to void toxic energies from his or her thoughts. Mentally think: “I turn the Light Switch on my thoughts of me and my family, relatives and ancestors.” There is no limit to the number of times that this tool can be used. The tool is a petition to Love to clear toxic thoughts of yourself and of your family, relatives and ancestors that divide your Mind, your house.”Ah, home. Place of heart, place of hurt ‚Ķ Yes, home is where the heart is and all too often, home is where the hurt is. Yet through transformational tools of consciousness, we can transform our hurt back to Love. As Dr. Len says,¬†“The purpose of life is to be restored back to Love , moment to moment.”

And so it is I have surrendered all my fear to the mighty power of Love. It so happens, this dance I have been doing is all around home. I have chosen to follow Jeremiah in leaving the comfortable nest we lived in the last 8+ years. He, of course, off to college. Me, just down the street into our little town. This little move caused some big rumbles in me and in some family, you know, money and history and such. I will offer some classes and experiences there like I did in my little studio last fall:In coming back into peace and alignment with my decision, I am calling the new place, my ‘Happy Hippie House’ and the move will be in a few weeks ‚Ķ my growing stuffed animal family can’t wait! As I build the new nest, with a nice corner for Jeremiah to come home to on breaks, I am using the gifts of intention and purpose for all aspects of my work & callings to offer transformational experiences for others, and I guess, ultimately for myself ~ to live fearlessly and full of Love ‚Ķ moment by moment!

This Friday, our Leaping Literacy Library Free Shelf will begin the 13 Days Of Halloween with daily specials like the Laurie StorEBook, Can You Hear Fear? with Mel & Nell!

Thank you so much for being here! Thank you for your willingness to share with me, and mostly thank you for showing up fearlessly to transform all back to Love. May your house stand united in Love, and only Love. Blessed Be.

Trust The Truth To Transform

Namaste Trustworthy Truth of Transformation!

So it is that I am here on Transformational Tuesday, the 1st of 13 left in 2018. Truth is, I am just called to commit to this so I am. Maybe it is a needed gateway to get me back into social media in general ~?~ or perhaps through a bit of dedicated discipline, this little series of 13 Transformational Tuesdays will be of service to someone or someones besides me?! Truth can be illusive yet a necessary foundation to well being. Thereby, we begin with truth. And trust. In the era of fake news, we are collectively more focused on truth these days. National and global dramas can pull us in to a swirl where lies seem more prevalent than truth sometimes. I have been astounded over and over how people I respect believe things (politically) that to me, seem to be blatant lies. As spiritual beings in this human experience, we must constantly tether to what is true for us personally and then hold the highest vibration we can for others and for the collective. When we are rooted in the light filled truth in our hearts, we bring a higher perspective to the table.

In the pervasive chaos, it can be hard to keep tethered to our truth. In times of change, our personal truth may shift. In navigating the end of a mothering era, I found myself off center. Someone used the word ‘disorienting’ when describing her own daughter’s departure some years back and THAT WAS IT! I was feeling so disoriented! Yet! No matter what we are facing, ¬†Spirit is always here to bring us back home to our hearts and the truth of who we truly be that lives there. Yes, we do have to stay aware of our wounded heart in deciphering truth so when emotions are present, they must be danced with ‚Ķ felt, honored, and ultimately transformed into higher power.Today’s Transformational Tool:

While we find our spiritual truth in our hearts, it is our minds that often must do the work to allow the natural progression of transformation,¬†aka FREEDOM from pain! Today’s tool is Byron Katie’s The Work available in this free PDF. Katie discovered her suffering was attached to whether or not she believed her thoughts. Hence, the work begins with the question, “Is it true?” Like all truth, “The Work” must resonate with you for it to be a tool you will use.

We know that thoughts create our reality so if we do not like our creation, thought is a great place to start!

And! We can’t ever forget the power of our hearts for trust, truth, transformation. Whatever we continue to be called to, is our truth. If the calling and truth feel good, feel like Love, than we are surely home in our heart truth ‚Ķ and ultimately remembering more of the truth of our being!

I continue to be called to my own work and to share it here. Here is a bit of the Farm Day I invited you to here in the September blog a few days ago … our Feature Creature Teacher, Peacock hid most of the day yet I got the pictures below and Tina the emu was a favorite for her loud, thumping drum-like heart beat. All ages had a restorative, fun gathering! More pictures here.

Our October Leaping Literacy Library Free Shelf is stocked with lots of transformative goodies including 3 songs from the new CD! We will be offering lots more freebies this month during the 13 days of Halloween. YAY! Let’s play!

Thank you so much for being here in the Spirit of truth, trust, transformation. May the thoughts of your mind and your heart guide you well into ever more fullness of your yesness expressed. Namaste, Love!

Love Making Nurtures Oneness, Opening Peaceful Possibilities Quietly

Do not think that love, in order to be genuine, has to be extraordinary.
What we need is to love without being tired. ~ Mother Teresa

Namaste Breath Of Love Expressed!

I greet you in the name of the greatest power, Love! It is Love that calls me here, Love that calls me forward, Love that unites us in this right now moment, and Love that can heal our hurting humanity.

I open with a song; a music video made for those families separated at our US border. I wrote the song while on ocean retreat sharing it with many international visitors at the hostel where I was. Written from the perspective of a child, it has been a prayer of solidarity I have been singing to help my own hurting heart and helpless hands in this horrific situation. The song, Mama Where Are You? is here:

I have not posted in this sacred cyber space for 3 months due to so many other commitments including the weekly, pictorial news I have been doing for the Youth Ed at Spiritual Life Center. My own family life continues to be exhausting, intense and demanding. The last May day I posted here, my auntie had a cerebral hemorrhage and left her body 3 days later. She was able to hear us at times letting her know we loved her and I sang to her multiple times including as she took her last breath. Song helped bring sacred awareness to her death. That reverent moment still opens my heart to peace. Both of my parents are in heart failure and too often gasping for breath as my one and only #1 son prepares to leave for college after being away adventuring most of the summer. Deep breath of yes allowance … Our transfomational tool of the day … breathe deep!

Through a deep, conscious breath we can come into oneness with ourselves, with another, our family, our world family. In the conscious yes breath, I align with the shine of my divine design doing what is mine to live Love, to make Love in this world. The life sustaining breath is an instant go to for nurturing oneness and practicing peace.

For any who know me or this place of sharing, you know there are millions of words for the last 12 weeks. So! In case you want to listen some, breathe with me, sing with me ~ pray and play with me, Owl, and Octopus, here is a (long!) Vlog:

As mentioned in the vlog, the Love making I do in this world that feeds me most is my work/play. Returning to my work feeds my soul and keeps me happier. We all need to feel on purpose by showing up for the truest callings of our hearts. For me, that’s music, the Leaping Literacy Library and our Creative Spirit Family events like our annual Feathers Of Freedom Family Camp. There are a few wonderful updates to report on all of the above!

The CD of short Spirit songs I began writing in 2016 is at the duplicators! Originally planned as ‘Children’s Chants’, it morphed and became an I Am exploration through the alphabet ~ Awake And Aware Through Zeal Zap!¬†It is 37 songs (not all letters are created equal!) with a total run time of 54:22. I will continue to be in service to the songs by showing up here and elsewhere with links and samples and such!

The CD debuts next week at our annual Feathers Of Freedom Camp; some of the songs will be shared at some of our circles with my young master musicians, Jeremiah (18) and Cameron (17) who recorded, mixed and mastered the CD. Yippee!

Camp! I have been saying for years we will have 100+peeps and this is the year! Great gratitude for partnering with Spiritual Life Center; through their promotion and invitations, we have lots of new peeps of all ages joining us this year. And great gratitude for our wonderful crew who are also saying woo hoo! I am knee deep in feathers, tea cups and wings for Fairy Tea, Feature Creature Teachers for our (inner) Treasure Hunt and so much more! If you are called, we can still fit you in if you sign up this week!

And the Leaping Literacy Library! Yes¬†the 2016 ABC’s For Humanity daily Play & Pray Calendar continues to be re-purposed and replaying for 2018. We are currently embracing Peaceful Quiet on our daily pages and the August Free Shelf:¬†

There are many aspects of the Library in what seems like a slow incubator. From the archives to the dreams and everywhere in between, here is a glimpse of some developing goodness with my supportive friend Rev Karene as Olive and me as puppet Owlet.

I am celebrating this right now moment with a deep breath of gratitude for this space and especially for you sharing it with me at any mindful moment. Thank you. I know I have not been up for nurturing a regular connection here this year yet I am re-committing hopefully in service to others as well as myself. When our hearts keep calling, we can always begin again … in any blessed breath.

Whatever goodness you are up to, may you be blessed in it. May we all be oneness blessed in the Love that created us as we continue to make Love, live Love, do and be Love in our all too often troubled world. Thank you for the Love of you. Namaste, Love!

Awareness, Acceptance, Allowance: Being Conscious!

Namaste Awake and Aware Allowing, Accepting Ones!
How you¬†BE this conscious moment?! I greet you in the names of acceptance and allowance with a big breath of beautiful, bountiful¬†becoming and creativity caressed compassion awareness. As the first month of 2018 draws to a close, I find myself here with too much to say and a dedicated determination to align with the shine of my divine design to the best of my capabilities at this time. In less poetic terms, I am accepting and allowing¬†messy me to¬†post here less than perfectly according to my 2018 plans … for humanity! Today is the scheduled 3rd post of the year with the courageous, compassionate Letter C. And since Abundant A¬†& Beautiful B¬†were swept away in my January days, we will (eventually!) hear from each of our sacred ABCs this fine day. Today, the POTUS of our fair land gives his 1 year anniversary State Of The Union Address. I am choosing not to tune in as I have heard more than enough and will hear some highlights later, I’m sure. Instead, I revisited some January pictures and a new song born out of the Martin Luther King March For The Dream and the 2nd annual Women’s March. I put prayers to feet in both of them locally with my 17 year old son. In the Women’s March, he brought his guitar and we sang some ~ lots of ‘This Little Light Of Mine’ easily drawing verses from the myriad of colorful, creative, passionate signs. Here’s some pictures in a little video where I am singing a new song I wrote this month with pictures from the 2 marches; one voice, many feet! The voice is rough yet so is the journey! There are also a few pictures starting¬†near the end¬†from around the world curtesy of generous photographers at Pixabay.

Ah yes, always so much to co-create ~ consciously or unconsciously! This day also marks the beginning of AGNT’s 20th Season For Peace¬†which¬†¬†is an educational, media and grassroots awareness campaign spanning the January 30th and April 4th memorial anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We will once again run our 64 Ways In 64 Days on our New Thought Families daily Play & Pray Calendar. Here is an excerpt from today’s calendar where co-creative C takes center stage:

Ask: What is mine to co-create?
Affirm: I Am that I Am the Co-Creator of my life!
Keep consciously creating today ~ whatever your heart is calling you to. Ask your heart what it wants to create ‚Ķ a picture? A song? A new idea? If you feel happy and excited ~ or even a little scared, it’s probably yours to do. So speak the first word of it, make the first line ‚Ķ know that all of creation is with you to help co-create your goodness!

Yes, our ‘For Humanity’ calendar and focus on our ABC’s is back for 2018 after turbulent 2017. Our Leaping Literacy Free Shelf is set to change every 2 weeks in keeping with the calendar and with this blog. Um … about that … it has taken me all of January to get some mojo back after the TOO MUCHNESS of last year … and well, the To Do’s never really stop with a roll of the calendar year! Last night was a major fundraising concert for Jeremiah’s high school concert and jazz bands so of course I had my hands and feet in that … finishing strong! My boy turns 18 in a few weeks and off to college in a few months so between him and the elders, my time continues to be streeeeetched!

Yet! Here we are! So let’s embrace those sacred ABC’s!

A! Activating abundance through appreciation awareness! There are many ways to practice awareness ~ from self to society. The marches are a great expression of awareness. When we turn our awareness to appreciation ~ in presence and practice, life becomes a bigger celebration! When we appreciate, we activate more and more of what feels good¬†and calls us to celebrate! Appreciate the air, your hands and what they do, your loved ones, your neighbors and community. The¬†more practiced¬†we¬†become at appreciation, the better able we are to appreciate even the things we don’t especially like ~ for their place in the divine whole. And even if your awareness can’t accept that one, know for sure that appreciation will undoubtedly raise your vibration keeping you happier, healthier and more prone towards celebration. Thereby better able to accept and deflect the atrocities and more readily allow your heart to awaken into more of the truth you truly be! This month at Spiritual Life Center, we practiced being awake and aware. We talked about being the kind of awake that opens¬†our hearts into knowing more of the divine essence we truly be. Our Feature Creature Teachers were Bear from the dreamtime cave reminding us that in the stillness, can be the greatest awareness. Snake taught us¬†to be aware of what we need to let go of ~¬†shedding the old so we can embody the new. Ant reminds us to be aware of each other ~ what is ours to do in community ~ with patience and strength! And last Sunday, we soared with Eagle who sees the big picture with sharp eyes teaching us to see our highest and best and to aim high where we build our nest. In being aware, our mind is a nest, our heart is a nest … we can aim high¬†by nurturing them in the high vibration of appreciation! Use the tool of appreciation to center and re-center in the goodness and blessings of your life. I promise the more you use it, the more it will become 2nd nature!¬†Yes we are blessed … so enter Letter B!
Our breath is the built in tool for centering into our blessings. Taking a deep breath in any moment can calm us down and help us cope. There are many ways to use the breath and any yogi will tell you, they all impact the body, mind and spirit differently! I learned the “breath of grace” years ago listening to Sonia Choquette and I still love it! Try it! Just blow out like you are blowing out the candles on your birthday cake … yes? Yes, blessed! Our holy Creator birthed us with a breath of Love and we can rebirth ourselves any and every moment! Our Creator also gifted us with a beautiful planet. Beauty is always beckoning for us to behold!Beauty is a way we can align with the divine design of this world and of ourselves. The flowers above are China Lilies also known as Narcissus which refers to being a narcissist which in this case I choose to see as a positive. These are my favorite flowers for their cheery appearance and intoxicating fragrance. They courageously bloom early; there have been lots around here this January. Their bountiful beauty beckons us to behold their beauty as a mirror to our own (hence the story of the narcissist associated with them). As this brief bout with B shows, it’s all what we believe! If we bring our sacred awareness into play, we will perceive the beauty in our surroundings and feel the blessings! Conscious Co-Creation!
Of course, all of our spiritual tools are always available. Some days or weeks we have great self mastery in using them. Other times, we fall back into forgetfulness. Courageously on the path, we just realign our consciousness as often as we can and then put conscious compassionate action into our feet, hands, and plans! My own plans seem in slow mo yet these last weeks have been about chipping away at lots of unfinished business ~ like finishing 20+ alliteration titles for the Leaping Literacy Library! It’s one thing to create them yet without the formatting and publication, there’s no way to communicate them. My co-creation celebrations require a lot of compassion … and the courage to just keep blooming through the cracks!

Well, my Love, this long post has rolled over into the absolute last day of January! A blue moon night, we will have no full moon in February and 2 in March making for another blue moon (the blue moon refers to the 2nd full moon in a calendar month). This beautiful planet is ever ready to bathe us in beauty even though we continue to be broken as humanity. Yet! We also continue to awaken and to be aware, to be compassionate and to care. We continually rise … march, speak, reach. Thank you. I truly Love and appreciate you. For being here. For being there. For being awake and aware. Whatever you are co-creating this day, this week, this year, keep believing in the blooming of your beauty … breathe it in … ah … Namaste, Love!

December’s Divine Dance

Namaste Oh Holy Love Light Shining Bright!

Delayed December greetings of lighted Love in a fleeting farewell to 2017! Here’s to the run on To Do’s of the December season of lights, packages, and fa la la’s that are counter to the winter Solstice invitation to go inward, get quiet and still. Here’s to the millions of moments that have manifested magic and mayhem and everything in between this turbulent year. And here’s to focusing on the good … small, tiny strokes of goodness on the landscape of all that has been and continues to unfold.

Simple Gifts!

Pictured below are small, handmade Christmas gifts; given and received. They serve as a reminder and an invitation to simple gifts of the heart. My lovely angel assistant at Spiritual Life Center, Katelynn, not only shows up big every Sunday, this Christmas she came bearing tremendous tiny gifts she made with her own heart infused hands! She had made me a little journal book for my birthday and these amazing little Christmas scene boxes; she made the boxes, painted them, created tiny figures on the lid and provided the’ snow’ for the scene. Precious! Thank you angel Katelynn! Katelynn’s gifts helped me complete a handmade heart gift for my friend and dad caregiver helper; I took 2 small walnuts she had picked up with her helping hands, then painted them gold and made them into earrings for her with my heart flow hands ~ she loved them and felt the flow of angels and ancestors. And so it is with the circle of inspiration!

Simple Lifts!

After more than a decade of Decembers, our fake Christmas tree did not grace our living room this season. Maybe it was the overload of fake news this year but I had let the tree go in a summer cleaning spree vowing this Christmas would provide a tree adventure. At my dad’s ranch, his 100 year old cedar had sprouted some babies that were growing in the cow field. They had to go so we had several little trees. These pictures do not do them justice yet again, the small touches of Jeremiah and I ceremoniously chopping them down for our house and dads + the lighting up of a live branch was actually a happy departure from what had become our tree tradition. Lovely branches, lovely life! I smile with these less than glamourous pictures now … sitting in the quiet of the library with Jeremiah at the same table doing his college application essays due in days/hours. We have left our annual music camp for a few hours to take care of these words … him with life decision deadlines that have been in the hopper for months now, me with staying true to this blog with some account of December’s deLIGHT! Truth is, this season, and this year has gifted us (especially me) many challenges and it is good to get away. We had a bit of a sunny walk on the beach a few days ago before heading into the redwood tree vortex of music camp …

December Dance!

As aforementioned, the winter darkness of December and its calling to stillness is often drowned out by our holiday To Do’s. For my part, the closing of the studio mid-month amid all the rest of my ongoing commitments, left little time for all the shopping et al. Yet I celebrated at Spiritual Life Center, took grammy to see lights, fixed a brunch and a dinner for the elders and the young ones and got it all cleaned up … with some presents in between. Lots of work with little time for rest left me spotlight blessed! With clarity and non-judgement, I deeply understand how my life choices have been affecting me, my dreams, and future. I SEE! I AM FREE!

December Divinity! Free Potentially!
Here in lies the holy light message of this month; the tenderheartedness of Christmas and the season of light is indeed a perfect spotlight into our lives year round. How we do one thing is usually how we do all things; through conscious awareness we can reshape our lives … enter New Year’s resolutions! I am embracing them for 18 with a dedicated devotion to discipline ~ putting feet, hands, and plans to the vision I see so clearly now!

I have fairly well mastered overwhelm and over commitment … so enough already! I am enough and can stop trying to prove otherwise! The tears of this season and this turbulent year are bringing the clarity needed for the puzzle pieces to reshape the steps needed on my soul’s journey …

Divinity & Humanity!

Our collective journey is much the same … the atrocities and cries for justice this ’17 can help propel us into more of who we are called to be in our highest expression of divinity in humanity. We owe it to ourselves and our children to keep rising with persistent power and potentiality ~ to live our highest humanity as divinity. The shadows of 17 have loomed large so hopefully we can all see more of who we have to be to live free.

Part of my clarity, has me returning to spiritual ABC’s and Humanity in the coming year which will bring me here with more regularity. In this moment, I am turning to Jeremiah’s essay edits and returning to music camp to sing and play the rest of the day and over the cusp of welcoming 18. I have some big plans yet it is all best played out in small moments.

Whatever calls to you, in the small or the tall, may you trust yourself to implement it all. And may we all stand together for truth, beauty, justice and the infinite possibilities of humanity! I wish you a continued season of Light and a prosperous New Year filled with the realities of your potentialities. Namaste, Love!

Zealous Yes: Love Expressed

Namaste Zealous Breath Of Love & Life Expressed!

Thank you for being here this mindful moment; for saying yes to this breath, yes to this connection. In the midst of what seems a continuous swirl of suffering, injustice and instances of humanity at it’s most horriblest,¬†let us¬†persist in the ways we must resist and insist on experiencing glimpses of bliss despite our hurting hearts. Yes this last week has brought an array of madness moments building the momentum of the insanity of humanity¬†with POTUS Trump actually throwing rolls of paper towels into the hands of devastated Americans in Puerto Rico and the¬†Vegas shooter waging war on innocent civilians spraying a reign of terrifying bullets from on high. As we look on and then look away, we struggle inside and out with what to think, do, say. While some claim prayers are not enough, reaching for our holy Creator and the divinity, compassion, forgiveness inside us, is still some of the best of who we are divinely designed to be. Saying YES to reaching high is indeed, how we rise! And it can be SO challenging sometimes … I myself felt anger this week which is pretty rare for me. In our messy humanness, we feel and we deal. And we surrender, pray and reach high … and higher …

So what do we tell our children?

How can we best help our youngest navigate what we ourselves struggle with??!! The words of beloved Mr. Rogers ~ and his mother! ~ can help us all. Yes, we look for the helpers. Those are the ones that are embodying the highest in humanity. The ones called to rescue, resuscitate, renew … We tell our children to look for the helpers. We¬†answer their questions¬†and no more. We spare their innocence from more detail than they need; we shelter them from too many media images and messages. And we pray with our children ~ reaching on high to lift ourselves and others. We release the yuckies in healthy ways like sounding on our Leaping Literacy Free Shelf with SoulPlay Michelle Peticolas this month. We look for the good and focus there. We live the good we are blessed with, the best we can each day.

Reach High!

It is so ‘normal’ to feel sadness, anger, pain when our brothers and sisters are hurting. In today’s media age, we know so much (too much?!) in real time though of course there is always more we barely hear of (recent near genocide of Rowhingya Muslims). Most if not all of us are feeling degrees of overwhelm and it may seem somehow ‘wrong’ for us to feel good, feel joyful, much less passionate and zealous?! Let’s look deeper, shall we? If those of us who in this moment are safe, loved, surrounded by beauty & comfort are vibrating with sadness, anger or even rage and despair, who will lift humanity?! Think of it in Harry Potter terms; the Death Eaters could swallow one up, heart and soul yet be staved off with good, happy thoughts. We are not so different, friends. Though the level of chaos and darkness is seemingly growing, we must hold heart space of the highest order¬†during these birthing pains of a more evolved, compassionate humankind. We are helpers. We are good. We are divinely designed to be a zealous YES of Love expressed!

No matter the personal or global deets of your days, say YES to your heart ~ listen and tap into … what makes your heart smile? What lights you up? What gives you a sizzling energy of YES ~?! THAT is ZEAL! Zeal is the energy of yes and pure potentiality!

For my part, I stay plenty busy being mighty mom and caretaking elders, especially my dad. These are jobs that can be exhausting and not always fulfilling. My most zealous yes is in creating ~

Above and below are ‘Peacock Cards’ I made for a spiritual literacy class this week ~ we circled up with peacock wisdom, made fruit peacock snacks and art and let this Creature Teacher speak to us of dreams. As you may or may not know, the regal beauty of the peacock embodies a wild voice ~ it kinda cries, squawks, laughs all at once! Like this pretty bird, we are all of it!
Circled up with the Peacock enlightenment! It can be so easy to ignore our hearts and live without zeal ~ seemingly saying no to our deepest desires simply by being too busy with the daily demands or by being engulfed in negativity by the gravity of current affairs. Again, I say, rise up against the ‘Death Eaters’ of insanity and gratefully embrace the goodness all around you and the goodness that is you. Reach into your Transformational Toolbox to let go of all the yuckies, surrender to your higher power and then start giving thanks for all you have and all you are. Reach high and feel the zeal ~ for your highest good and the highest good of all! Right action for what is yours to do will naturally follow your zealous YES!

Our October Leaping Literacy Library Free Shelf has a mix of home Zeal, Halloween, and a special SoulPlay PlayShop with Secrets of Life & Death’s Michelle Peticolas helping us release yuckies with sound. Great for all ages, release with us!My work/play of spiritual literacy has me developing new content for the Leaping Literacy Library as I play it out in the new Creative Spirit Families studio and at Spiritual Life Center on Sundays. Last Sunday, Squirrel was our Feature Creature Teacher. Squirrel works very hard, especially this time of year, gathering for the winter yet always seems to be at play. Rather than worrying about the approaching cold and scarcity, squirrel playfully gathers and stores with a seeming grateful joy.Life¬†is¬†good and the goodness of life is best felt when we stay grateful ~ and when we add some play into our work! When we look at life and death in the circle of time, we can see our lives for what we want them to be … productivity and potentiality played out passionately! Part of my calling keeps returning me to my long list of alliteration titles that are being completed in zig zag formation ~ given that last post, there were 2 new T titles and this time, the newest are from the outstanding letter O!

So! I will keep the words, Library, and live circles at play! And for my hurting brothers and sisters I will pray. With a bit of both play & pray in every breath, may we all, in our own ways, be a zealous YES of Love expressed! Namaste, Love!
