Expansive Gratitude

Namaste Expressive, Expansive Spirit Givers!

I greet you with the belated posts planned for last Thursday’s Thanks Living Thanksgiving, and then yesterday’s Giving Tuesday … ah, deep sigh of shifting commitments and continued life overwhelm. Thursday was a good family day and yesterday spent unexpectedly at the hospital with my dad. My dedication to being here each Tuesday until yearend morphed into Wednesdays and then last week, not at all. Such evidence of my struggle for balance. I continue to give and over-give in the endless cycle of never being enough. Our Black Friday society continuously blares the message (buy) more, more, MORE! All the deets of our lives aside, Spirit always beckons us to go within. Spotlight on self examination.

Look Within!

And so it goes, that wherever we are, there we are. After 8 and a half years, I am in a new home finding some forgotten fragments of self, I am not that fond of. Much of this is directly related to Jeremiah being away and my new life beginning as his does. He was in our new home for 2 nites before I drove him back and stayed over to see and hear him play the Rose Bowl. He is in the UCLA ‘solid gold sound’ of the band and happy. My YES for him has me reshaping my own views of my new co-creations here and on the horizon. And re-learning my tools of Thanks Living and choosing happiness.

This world teaches us that our existence is defined by the outer circumstances of our lives. Spirit allows us to know a different truth … one that is based on seeing, feeling, knowing, being the divine thread woven into every aspect of who we be and what all of Creation is. We certainly look to others for meaning and inspiration, even explanation. Yet in the end, all answers are within.

Recipe For Life!

I have been reminded of one of the elder teachers I have known and wrote a song about on our Trust What You Hear CD. The chorus of the song, Still Walking, says:
Love the Creator & the Whole Creation,
Give of yourself wherever you’re set down
Put your heart & hands into loving service
and always know you’re walking holy ground

When we align with Love and service, the reverence of walking holy ground often follows and guides our way. Yet! As so many of us over-givers know, Love and service can be depleting and lead into overwhelm, burnout, ill health of body, mind, Spirit. Again, self examination and correction of our energies is the crucial factor in keeping ourselves balanced, healthy, holy.

Care Giving!

Giving Tuesday is indeed a nice balance point for Black Friday & Cyber Monday as we pay attention to where we flow our money ~ for who & what … when and where. Perhaps the biggest invitation is to the examination of how we care ~ for who & what … when and where. As I was re-committing to a long list of work projects yesterday, my dad called to say he had just gotten up from a long night (and morning) on the floor. He sounded alert and ‘with it’ saying he had gotten himself into bed so I grabbed a shower before heading over. In shifting all priorities, the shower seemed reasonable and he was sleeping like a baby when I got there. The disarray of the house and his body took us to the hospital where tests showed his CHF was out of control. They are keeping him for a few days to ‘dry out’. As the hours rolled by at the hospital, I marveled at the nurses and doctors who so lovingly give their hearts and hands to service. And I fused waves of inspiration & motivation, with frustration and dedication returning ~ over and again ~ to the holy ground I am walking.

Choosing Expansion!

My new home is all about expansion for myself and for Creative Spirit Families ~ both the Online Library and the local community. This big place is definitely feeling full of promise and potentiality and in turn, sometimes overwhelming and lonely. I have been feeling another elder so strongly ~ Faith Petric! Like her Victorian in SF, this will be a music house full of singing.

The mixed intuition I had all along was pointing to more old dirt than I wished to care for ~ yes, my own but mostly having to clean as I go … some of it grimy yuck I cannot and will not live with. And! I was getting increasingly a bit phobic about dirt so this place is allowing some lower standards 🙂 I am choosing to expand in all kinds of ways, some of which is not inherent in the square footage! I will be bringing videos to life in the near future and the house will be open for Solstice!

Thanks Living = Holy (Wholly!) Living!

The darkness ~ like all of life ~ is an ever present, omnipresent invitation to the Light. The Light invites us to be bright! Shining through the shadows is what grows our souls. And so it goes that with deep self examination and divination, we can align with the shine of our divine design. For me, that brings me back, time after time, to the Leaping Literacy Library! Creative Spirit Families mission is to support traditional, creative, and spiritual family literacy. The dreams I have for expansion have not gone away yet rather patiently wait for my scattered attention. I am choosing to focus and allow grace to guide and assist me in this labor of Love ~ especially through all the labor pains!

For us to live holy ~ and wholly ~ we must remain mindful, grateful, willing … and thereby able to be response able (responsible!) to live our highest callings! Just say YES!!

And so dear ones, when and if you are reading these words, I wish you ease and grace in knowing yourself, giving yourself care and knowing the holiness in all of it. We are infinitely blessed by this gift of life. We give our best, when we gratefully express our YES, whatever that is for you in any given moment. And so we grow in the light! Blessed be! Namaste, Love.

Wisely Wondering

Namaste Wise Ones Walking This World With Wonder!

I greet you in the name of wonder and the expansive opportunities it lends us ~ the power of WOW! As I am in the intensity of packing and moving, I expand out into our nation and the midterm elections that happened this transformational Tuesday. I further open the wise eyes of my heart to know that this wonderful Wednesday is Diwali for Hindus worldwide. Light filled Diwali! A celebration of light over dark, good over evil. Yes, there is much to wonder about this WOW day on planet earth.

As humans, we often walk this world full of judgments. Sometimes smugly, knowing that we are wise in our truth. Sometimes, we walk our path with downright righteous indignation. And so it goes with the continued, charged political climate we are living ~ not just here in America but worldwide. It is a sign of where we are as humanity ~ the natural ascension we are growing into as humanity, has a huge backlash of resistance and insistence on lies like white supremacy. We must continue to align with the shine of our divine design ~ meeting these challenges with compassion, justice … and wonderment. When we do, we can WOW ourselves and each other with the power of Love.

Yesterday, I witnessed something that disgusted me and wounded my heart yet in later reflection, I see it as an invitation to curiosity and compassion. My rural county is more red than blue. Still, I was somewhat shocked to see a small group that included kids holding Trump signs and selling maga t-shirts yesterday at an intersection. We are indeed at an intersection in our history. What hurts my heart is that kids are experiencing Trump as a positive through their parents. In my music classes at the school last week, I had a 1st grader dressed as Trump and I had to wrestle with mixed feelings for sure. I find it appalling that any parent would want that kind of example for their child. The bald face lies, bullying, and mean spirited divisiveness he spouts that incites crowds to cheer can send me to righteous indignation straight away to be sure. It is the timeless dance of Love and fear. So! Deep breath. Transformational tool of curious wondering instead of judgmental knowing leads me to a greater, compassionate wisdom. More peace. Yes, peace begins with me … and you … and him … and her … and us … and ‘them’. Let us work together for yes blessed oneness! The election results were full of disappointments for me and for many … Yet! Many triumphs as well … for both ‘sides’ … ultimately and hopefully our divided nation will not fall but continue to grow … stronger, better, more compassionate and aligned with the shine of our divine design as we learn to let Love lead us into working together for the highest good of all.

On the home front, I have used the tools of wonder and WOW as I pack up my life including all the stuff that is mine, Jeremiah’s, and Creative Spirit Families’. I am trusting ~ myself first and foremost ~ and definitely my reliance on Spirit and faith in divine order. Though there are many contributing factors, the house being built next to me here helped push me out of the nest fairly simultaneously to my little birdie flying free. There are many aspects of this new build I could complain about yet I have been practicing wowness for the wonder of what it is to take stacks of wood and make them into a house. People, we are co-creators, more powerful than we dare to know, and we can co-create Ahmazing creations of all kinds! Let us trust Spirit and ourselves to keep creating light over dark, good over evil, Love over fear.

Fear builds walls, Love opens doors!

And so let us keep opening the doors in our own minds and hearts with wonder and wowness for what is to be alive, to see injustice and work for change, to recognize walls of fear in ourselves and others and to choose to take the walls down brick by brick. And as we all build, clean, maintain our own house of Love, mind/body/Spirit, home/community/country/world, may we marvel at what it is to live this gift of life and let this sense of wowness buoy us up to do what is ours to do where, when, how it is ours to do it.

For my part, there is still plenty in the making for Creative Spirit Families and Leaping Literacy ~ in our new, forthcoming abode and beeeeeeeeeeeeeyoooooooond! Our Leaping Literacy Library Free Shelf is stocked with exuberant, wise wowness for November so sign up or in with your free Leaping Literacy Library Card to celebrate spirituality and literacy with us including 3 short Spirit songs from the new CD!
Wishing you and all of us transformational moments of expansive wonder and exuberant WOW! Namaste, Love!

Vibrational Vision

Namaste Visionary Vibration of Vitality!

This transformational Tuesday is a vibration celebration! It is all too easy to forget about vibrational energy even though it is running 24/7 co-creating our lives consciously or unconsciously. Vibration is measured by some like Dr. David Hawkins Scale of Consciousness. On Hawkins scale, 0-1000, 500 is unconditional Love which is a high(est) state to attain to for most. 1000 is pure enlightenment. At the bottom of Hawkins’ vibrational scale of consciousness is shame:

Most of us live in certain flux of emotional isness using our transformational tools to bring us into more alignment with our highest and best (feeling) selves. The lower frequencies like guilt and grief simply don’t feel good and make for a negative experience of life. The more fear based our lives, communities, nations, the further from Love and living in higher consciousness we are. Vibrate HIGH! Because we operate so much of the time in a relative unconscious state, listening to high, vibrational frequencies is one of the  best ways I have found to live more Love. YouTube has a plethora of these frequencies for free from peeps like Elke Neher and channels like Meditative Mind and ZenLifeRelax who has one of my favorite Love frequencies played here:

I love the power of these frequencies to bring us home to Love. As vibrational beings, we naturally align with vibration so as the Obamas always said, “Go high!”

In bringing our consciousness higher, visioning is a powerful tool that helps us see our way open up. When we act on those higher callings, we are voicing our vision in the ways we show up.The picture above is a vulture from today’s Play & Pray Calendar at New Thought Families:
The Play Invitation reads:
Visit your inner vulture today to voice your vision! Vultures are birds that clean up messes that many other animals will not touch. Vultures often eat animals that have died and are just laying on the ground or road. In this way, vultures help with the full circle of life. So! Look around your own life and deep in your heart for anything that needs cleaning up or needs to be brought full circle. Find creative ways to voice the vision of what you find … words, song, art, dance, or any other expressions. How will you voice the vision that calls loudest to you?!

Shout out to the vulture! And! Case in point that in the full circle of life and vibration, clean up and rev up go with the territory!

My own home front is full of mess as I prepare to move. I am faced with the too muchness that is me and has become my state of ‘stuff’. I am constantly reframing instead of blaming and shaming myself for the accumulation. It is actually a sacred time of re-evaluation and VISIONING where I am headed with all this stuff and why I collected it in the first place! I am letting my inner vulture have a good time with the clean up 🙂 !

Though there is strong argument against, I am simultaneously doing at least a bit of this in my online world of the Leaping Literacy Library as I try to prioritize some time and offerings. I’m not so much for traditional Halloween yet am offering some different takes on it with special daily bonus giveaways on the Free Shelf. Today’s special was all about the mystery. I pulled a Mel & Nell Laurie StorEBook out of the long ago archives regarding history as a mystery … told by ‘they’, ‘who are they’?! The ABC Mystery is AHmazing alliteration and the Spirit inspiration celebration I have loved for so many years, The Mystery … playing here and now!:

Whatever media or other experiences you bring in, moment by moment, day by day, they will surely have an effect on your vibrational field. We are made beautifully with an inner GPS to ever guide us home to Love. Remember, whatever you feel, you are vibrating and radiating into the world. So keep visioning, seeing, being the Love or above of beautiful you and attract the same mirrored back to you! Namaste, vibrational, vibrant voice of Love!

Trust The Truth To Transform

Namaste Trustworthy Truth of Transformation!

So it is that I am here on Transformational Tuesday, the 1st of 13 left in 2018. Truth is, I am just called to commit to this so I am. Maybe it is a needed gateway to get me back into social media in general ~?~ or perhaps through a bit of dedicated discipline, this little series of 13 Transformational Tuesdays will be of service to someone or someones besides me?! Truth can be illusive yet a necessary foundation to well being. Thereby, we begin with truth. And trust. In the era of fake news, we are collectively more focused on truth these days. National and global dramas can pull us in to a swirl where lies seem more prevalent than truth sometimes. I have been astounded over and over how people I respect believe things (politically) that to me, seem to be blatant lies. As spiritual beings in this human experience, we must constantly tether to what is true for us personally and then hold the highest vibration we can for others and for the collective. When we are rooted in the light filled truth in our hearts, we bring a higher perspective to the table.

In the pervasive chaos, it can be hard to keep tethered to our truth. In times of change, our personal truth may shift. In navigating the end of a mothering era, I found myself off center. Someone used the word ‘disorienting’ when describing her own daughter’s departure some years back and THAT WAS IT! I was feeling so disoriented! Yet! No matter what we are facing,  Spirit is always here to bring us back home to our hearts and the truth of who we truly be that lives there. Yes, we do have to stay aware of our wounded heart in deciphering truth so when emotions are present, they must be danced with … felt, honored, and ultimately transformed into higher power.Today’s Transformational Tool:

While we find our spiritual truth in our hearts, it is our minds that often must do the work to allow the natural progression of transformation, aka FREEDOM from pain! Today’s tool is Byron Katie’s The Work available in this free PDF. Katie discovered her suffering was attached to whether or not she believed her thoughts. Hence, the work begins with the question, “Is it true?” Like all truth, “The Work” must resonate with you for it to be a tool you will use.

We know that thoughts create our reality so if we do not like our creation, thought is a great place to start!

And! We can’t ever forget the power of our hearts for trust, truth, transformation. Whatever we continue to be called to, is our truth. If the calling and truth feel good, feel like Love, than we are surely home in our heart truth … and ultimately remembering more of the truth of our being!

I continue to be called to my own work and to share it here. Here is a bit of the Farm Day I invited you to here in the September blog a few days ago … our Feature Creature Teacher, Peacock hid most of the day yet I got the pictures below and Tina the emu was a favorite for her loud, thumping drum-like heart beat. All ages had a restorative, fun gathering! More pictures here.

Our October Leaping Literacy Library Free Shelf is stocked with lots of transformative goodies including 3 songs from the new CD! We will be offering lots more freebies this month during the 13 days of Halloween. YAY! Let’s play!

Thank you so much for being here in the Spirit of truth, trust, transformation. May the thoughts of your mind and your heart guide you well into ever more fullness of your yesness expressed. Namaste, Love!

September Remembered In Sacred Reverence

Namaste Sacred Expression Love!
As September takes her last summery breaths, I greet you in the heart of home, the heart of Love, the depth of heart that holds the sacred center we all share. Ah, September, a month often so full of new beginnings and endings … harvest, and the new school year, the final surrender of summer and the fall leaves beckoning to release what no longer serves us. Equinox balance is bringing shorter days and longer nights as winter whispers her approach (on this side of the planet!). My personal and our collective experiences this season provide a plethora of potent material we could open up to this mindful moment, yet in the swirl of possibilities, let’s sit still …
There is a timeless truth … in the stillness our Creator awaits to meet us in unconditional Love. The September interfaith calendar has also been full this month. Of all of those remembrances, I’d like to pause on forgiveness. The 23rd was Ksamavani, the Jain Universal Festival of Forgiveness. In the Jewish tradition, Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the year was celebrated this year on September 19th. This day of atonement ( at one ment) clears the heart and home in preparation of Sukkot, the time of grateful blessings and happy home. In many ways, what we allow to stay in the * inn * of our hearts, is indeed what constitutes home!

There are many ways to shine the light on our hearts, our homes. Sitting in the silence, in an embrace of remembrance and forgiveness can be a great gateway into more freedom and happiness. The Jewish Sukkot is a week long celebration (Sept. 23-30 ‘18) where the 40 years of living in the desert is remembered; God gave the people shade, shelter, food in the desert. Sukkah is an outside ‘house’ where each family lives for a week, remembering their blessings, sharing them with others, and being happy! Equinox times of the year, September and March always invite us towards balance. Cleaning our homes (the physical home and the heart home) do indeed help us restore peace, harmony, balance within ourselves, our families, our homes and communities. Jeremiah left home for college this month and there is a new home being built next door with new property lines being drawn expanding ‘their side’ of the space. Both of these things have been so huge for me that I will be speaking to them in the weeks to come with some tender tidbits on Transformational Tuesdays. For now, I will say Jeremiah leaving home was so much harder than I thought it would be, I’ve had to keep forgiving myself for not being as ‘ready’ as I thought. Truth is, you can only prepare so much and then it just is. For the neighbors, I’ve had to forgive all the ‘not in my yard’ feelings and thoughts. Our national dramas have left many of us re-visiting traumas ~ in particular, so many of us women (and men?!) who have been sexually assaulted have had the opportunity to remember and forgive. This last week when the brave Dr. Ford stepped forward, I remembered the trial I was ‘on’ as a 17 year old rape victim. Even though the man had stuck a gun to my head, raped and beat me up, the woman judge still allowed them to question me, “What were you wearing?” I had to answer. Objection! What was I wearing? The man put a gun to my head! The truth of that ‘Me Too’ story is that he was the easist one to forgive over the years. While the court questioned me, I didn’t question myself. There is, of course, SO much more that could be said ~ about all of it!

The hearing this week showed a compelling testimony by a woman reliving trauma and a somewhat unhinged testimony of a judge not telling the truth. And! Just the latest installment of the craziness. The hard truth and actual good news about all of the political and national chaos is that our collective shadows are being illuminated … and thereby we are invited to clean up our hearts and homes. We CAN rise above all this and I believe, we will. We are!

Yes, it can be exhausting. Yes, it can be disheartening. Yet forgiveness is part of the path forward. Forgiveness is a spiritual practice that never ends! Some things we can forgive more easily than others. Some things ‘stay’ forgiven while others, just don’t. We just forgive as often as we need to. We know we need to through the GPS of our heart and soul saying it is so. We feel and know this GPS best in the stillness.

At this year’s Feathers Of Freedom Camp, the Forgiveness Footpath ended with this:

You know, like “This is the song that never ends …!” I was alone at Camp recently, the place closed up for winter. I went on the Forgiveness Footpath remembering in my mind’s eye the invitations. I forgave. I cried. I forgave some more. At the end of the path, the sign above was still there. Whaaat?! I had already been to the camp once before with lost and found and didn’t even realize the sign was missing! It was a beautiful remembrance of divine order as well as the ongoing need to engage in forgiveness as an ongoing spiritual practice.
Spirit is always issuing invitations to sacred awareness, to holy living, to coming home to our own hearts. The more we can free the debri, the more our heart eyes can see the smiling sacred everywhere!
The place that can be hardest for me to see the sacred is inside myself. I am usually the hardest one I have to forgive too! Curious how that works. Even on my spiritual high road, I can still wrestle with the little me who is never good enough. It is not a battle, just a journey.
I do battle sometimes with decisions of time and energy … I have wanted to get back into weekly blogging all year yet the reality has been more like monthly. So! I am stepping into Transformational Tuesdays for the rest of 2018 ~ vowing to speak to transformational tools in short, succinct ways. I hope that by being in service to this persistent calling, I can be in service to you!
Today’s Transformation Invitation:
Ask your heart what it would like to let go of … anything there asking for forgiveness? Sit with it. Feel it. If nothing readily comes, take the invitation into your day, your week, and be ready when it appears to meet and greet it. Sit with it in the silence. Then use words, written, spoken, sung … I forgive you. I accept you. I thank you.
Deeper Invitation ~ Practice Radical Forgiveness:
As I have blogged here many times, the work of Colin Tipping’s Radical Forgiveness is where the empowered heart is called to go. Essentially, we step through release and forgiveness to a place of gratitude for our soul’s journey and all those who have played a part in it. Visit Tipping’s website for this FREE Transformational Tool!
So! My September silence has led to this super long post and I want to wrap it up with Creative Spirit Families’ invitations! I am hosting an event tomorrow … outlined below, join us in person or in Spirit!
There’s the ever present Leaping Literacy Library Free Shelf and the New Thought Families Daily Play and Pray Calendar. These are always online even if I don’t make it ‘here’ on time! 🙂
And! That new CD! I would have been ‘here’ sooner yet vowed to get the new CD onsite first. You can go HERE to HEAR samples of the 37 songs WITH LYRICS! And an opportunity to purchase the CD should you be so inclined. Not a convincing appeal I suppose in and of itself. Yet! The songs ARE HERE and I hope you CAN HEAR that they are designed to help you align with your divine shine and raise your vibration in Spirit celebration!
Last Minute Invitation to a Local Celebration!
Come out and play in a fall harvest celebration, fine freedom feathered friends! Let us gather and be nurtured in the heart centered home of nature! Creative Spirit Families is hosting a Fall Fun PlayShop at Piccolo Pastures in Elk Grove THIS Sunday, September 30th from 2:00-5:00. All (ages) are welcome!
Rev Karene and Big Don Piccolo have invited us to their farm to visit with them and with white donkeys, Duke & Dutch, Tina the emu, miniature horses, Harry & George as well as a gaggle of geese, chickens, goats, and the peacocks! Peacock is our Feature Creature Teacher who we will learn from as well as play with their fabulous feathers! Peacock reminds us of many things, including to dream! The beautiful feathers of the peacock juxtaposed to their loud, squawking voice, gives us lots of food for thought and heart invitations for deeper understanding. In addition to the animals and crafts, we will sing, drum and snack, walk and pray the labyrinths, visit and share hugs in our loving, playful Circle Of Love. Let’s meet to open up & create more heart and home for ourselves, our families, community! Feathers of faith filled Heart freely flying out to our world family!
The September Free Shelf in our Leaping Literacy Library is still stocked for a few more days before we embrace T, U, October & Halloween. The Free Shelf can be accessed through Creative Spirit Families.
So divine expression of sacred goodness, thank you so much for being here as part of this September remembrance and forgiveness celebration! May you stand tall, and stand strong as we journey along. Blessed be! Namaste, Love!

Reverent Reality

Namaste Reverence Expressed!

Let us take a deep, honor filled breath of respect and reverence … for what it is to be here now, for what it is to be alive in these bodies individually and in the sea of humanity, and for what it is to be living on this AHmazing planet of beauty. Today’s post offers the transformational tool of reverent reality.

Also known as sacred awareness, reverent reality is living in a state of appreciation, respect and honor. From a spiritual perspective, I would add to standard dictionary definitions, the respect inherent in reverence is holy. Appreciative awareness of the sacred presence is indeed a divinely reverent, holy experience. The scale can be tiny or it can be grand … Let’s practice now! Here’s today’s (now yesterday’s!) daily Play & Pray:

StarPlay:
See with the deep respect of reverence today! Start by closing your eyes and holding your hands over your eyes. Think about how good it is to see everything … call on your grateful heart to energize and activate your mind on just how good it is to see everything! Next, spread your fingers and open your eyes to just peek out … whatever you see, say, “WOW!” with the reverent reverie of an appreciation celebration. See how many times you can see and feel this wow vision of reverence as you go on your way today … Remembering just how good it is to see everything!
See with the Eyes of Reverence

StarPray:
Thank You holy One for the expanse of beauty in this life. I am in grateful awe at how beautiful everything is on this planet home. Our sacred mother earth is always bursting with beauty as are all the animals and people as we live Your Love expressed. I pray to see and know everything today with this deep respect and reverent appreciation as well as the reverie of celebration! I also pray for all beings in our global family to awaken just even a tiny bit more to see You and all Your beauty this moment, this day, this life. We are all so blessed in Love!

Any way we choose to believe and perceive our reality, it most often takes practice to reclaim what comes naturally to us as children of the divine … living a holy awe, blessed YES existence of reverence is a practice. I find gratitude is the strongest set point and let’s face it, too many days, the default “ain’t it awful” wants to steer the ship that would otherwise sail on bliss. We must actively engage with the divine waiting to embrace us in arms of beauty, compassion, positivity & infinite potentiality! Reach for appreciation! Reach for reverence! Reach for rainbows!Rest assured dear reader, I remain aware of the current turbulence in our country and in this world … in fact, the life and death and political swirl of energies around Senator John McCain helped inspire this look at honor and reverence. My own personal world is still stuffed with honoring my parents and their failing bodies … Yesterday and today in service to my mom with a trip to AZ for her specialty boots. As any regular reader here knows, I could fill up paragraphs with my family commitments. In a few weeks, I will move Jeremiah into his dorm room and I am still riding the waves of grief that surface with that triumphant transition. I mention it all now in context of the reverent rainbow reach to say that it truly is how you believe and perceive your co-creations~! As my son moves on, and I listen deeply ~ reverently ~ to my soul and the compassion fatigue I have for the elder care, there are indeed new rainbow creations I am called to and reaching for! Yippee for me and infinite possibilities!

AND! Let me reverently relish in reverie the 2 big co-creations that have come to BE this AHsome August! For it is all too common for me ~ us?! ~ to focus on the pressing To Do’s rather than to pause for the Ta Da’s as part of the endless not enoughness that loves to be in the driver seat! For inherent in embodying a reverent, holy, blissful yes for life is to celebrate our isness and certainly our accomplishments and co-creations as fully as we can! In this way we honor ourselves and the Great Spirit that flows through us, as us. It is not I but the Spirit within me that doeth the work!

Feathers Of Freedom Family Camp!

This year’s Circle Of Love was spontaneously created by 2 of our teens (pictured below). With 102 signing up and showing up, my little Camp took on a whole new expansion. The Great Spirit of Love that guided us all made for a very happy, high vibe in our sacred Sierra playground! Here are a few pictures of circles, Teddy Bear Picnic, the zebra stop on the (Inner) Treasure Hunt, and Forgiveness Footprints Path. You can see more photos on our page.

Camp gave me such a heart start for the path ahead! I sincerely hope it did the same for the beautiful souls who came to co-create our treasured time!

And! As I mentioned in the last post, the new CD did make it out and we sang some of it at Camp! In the reverent reality of all my To Dos, I will perfectly, imperfectly be ‘releasing’ it here and in the greater cyber space more fully and reverently in the coming weeks. These ABC affirmations are indeed a singing celebration that joyously lift vibration! And as the cover speaks to, I was born for this! So! In holy reverence, I thank you for spending this sacred moment with me. I heartily invite you to open up to seeing with eyes of reverence. As you practice this, you will certainly feel more bliss! May we all continue to reach for rainbows as we co-create a more reverent reality remembering who we truly be. Namaste, Love!

Evolving Energies!

Namaste Vivacious, Visionary Valentines!

Greetings this fleeting last breath of February! I am here, in this mindful moment, in large part motivated by not missing the mark on the month. This blog was birthed in February 2011 and I have been here every month and couldn’t miss this one! Deep breath of commitment, surrender, pause for purpose … Truth is, my life hasn’t really had room for this blog of late … hence the last moment markers on the last few months’ dates. Time to realign the shine of this divine design? Maybe yes, maybe no, maybe so. If you are here, at any divine shine moment, thank you. Let us have a heart to heart.

We are all devoted to something. Some of us devoted to too many things. Yes, let us all be devoted to humanity. In the oneness blessed of who we be, let us pray for the tapestry of hearts that is the collective body we are home to. It is easy and perhaps natural to be wrapped up in what is right before us with no mind or heart space left for ‘others’. Tragedies occur, come into our consciousness, we pray for those affected and then we necessarily move on. Yet! Devotion demands diligence. Continued prayers and caring. Whether our thoughts, words, actions seem to have an impact on humanity’s heart or not, we continue to show up in the smallest of ways … with Love, in Love, as Love. We do because devotion makes a difference ~ if in no other heart than our own. We are, after all, heart energy. Holy Creator’s breath of Love expressed. With a mindful, loving presence, we can manage our energy with everything from food choices, thoughts, balanced choices of time for work, sleep, spiritual practice and play. I have not been visually online much at all the last few weeks (months?) as I show up for so many other areas of life and strive for balance and beauty within and in all I am dedicated and devoted to. Facebook is something I seemingly abandoned mostly out of life and energy overwhelm. The swirling energies of social media became too much for me to successfully manage so I just stepped (way!) back. Increased peace and balance are worth it and working for me, for now. Our lives continue to be an evolution of old & new, light & dark, good & bad. With Love in the center, divine order is always unfolding. I still have a fair amount of energy going to the elders all dying slow, slow deaths (like this blog?! ~ maybe ~). I see what it is to stop caring as the literal energy in the body lessons to the point of inability to show up for things that were once important, or even inspirational. Juxtaposed to my now 18 year old son in the thick of scholarship applications, local speech contests, drama and band performances ~ he like I have been for so much of life ~ lending his young, zealous energies here, there and everywhere! Balance. Angels and ancestors whisper to learn from the old, bring their strength and Love to the new. As I have let go of some things and still struggle to do half of what calls, I appreciate the divine dance of divinity as it plays out in life’s infinity. Dying and living, co-creating on all levels, we are humanity. At the heart of how I express life and Love these days is in the elevation of vibration ~ in work, play, everyday conversations. If we can somehow leave peeps the better for our interactions … sometimes I am golden in this and other times less so. We know how people, situations, news, views make us feel. Our inner Grace Positioning System will always let us know whether we are elevating and being elevated or going the other direction. With that information, we often have the freedom to choose whether to continue or disengage for the sake of our highest and best. There is no better playground to practice this than in our minds and hearts. Feeling good and positive and elevated can be work yet with the right transformative tools, it can be fairly easy and even enJOYable. And when it’s not, we keep our 3rd eyes on the prize knowing we will get to that feel good place of Love and it is well worth the journey. Indeed, it is the only way to go for ultimate happiness and elevation of ourselves ~ and humanity!Leaping Literacy Library! It is a place I am dedicated to be!
