April Awareness Celebrations: Alchemizing, Strategizing, Prioritizing

Welcome April Blossoms of Beauty and Bravery!
As we near the end of April, May Transformations are beckoning! There are so many April celebrations that are near and dear to my heart, I had to speak to them before month’s end! Even though the bigger, better spotlights I woulda, coulda, shoulda given the following didn’t happen, we can still take a mindful moment of honoring and recognition. Let me first recognize you with gratitude for being here and honoring us with your time, heart, and mind. Thank you for being here!

April! The month that is often a menopausal one for our Mother with her warm flashes and surprise storms. April is the time of recognition of our mother with Earth Day/Month. Of course, Earth Day every day of the year yet April 22 is a longstanding calendarization for our attention. We love you mama earth! We have this and other earth songs featured on our ETV Music Video page.

April is also the official month to celebrate Young Children and Libraries; 2 cornerstones of our work/play at Leaping Literacy Online Library!

Much as I thought I would leverage these celebrations this month with progress in the Library and new production work, my main focus was inward yet again. I came face to face with an ongoing health challenge that actually has its roots in another April occasion ~ today is the 42nd year anniversary of breaking my neck. The vlog below speaks to the journey. Some of the metaphysical nuggets are letting go of ‘old fixes’ and employing new opportunities, releasing resistance, allowing alchemy, transcendence, and evolution, trusting transformation. I still struggle with the volume of me expressing concisely! I did this April vlog twice and while the 2nd time conceivably is more organized and concise, it is just as long and in fact, a bit longer than the 1st! The 1st one was full of tears and led me to some places I needed to go to gain the clarity for the 2nd one 🙂 I spent time producing the 1st one and had vowed to put it out so in a game time decision, I am posting both onsite in the quiet vlog space. If you are going to invest the time, I highly recommend the 2nd one over the 1st. Yet, in the spirit of birth and death, i did post both, at least for now. So goes the journey of messy me trusting the divinity of alchemy!

There are MANY celebrations, every month and every DAY! In the April Vlog 2, I celebrate some of them noted TODAY from the fun website https://www.holidaycalendar.io whereby they give all the history and significance of each day’s celebration/honoring. Apparently, anyone can start a Day with a little momentum! April 28th is noted for many things including Biological Clock Day, Clean Comendy Day, National Super Hero Day, Pet Parent Day, Stop Food Waste Day, Great Poetry Reading Day and more! I read from the great Unity poet James Dillet Freeman in Vlog 2 as a nod to another of today’s celebrations, ‘Pay It Forward Day’. Poets indeed pay it forward sometimes for generations with the power of their words!

There is an infinity of ways we can focus and show up any moment, day, month. There are so many celebrations, honorings, ponderings we can give our time, heart, and mind to. By following our heart and natural curiosity, we are aligniung with our soul purpose in being here, in this incarnation and lifetime. With our own unique gifts and skills, we are here to serve each other and our own soul’s purpose in choosing to be here now.

There is much to say about where Leaping Literacy Library is now and is going yet I will be ok, this anniversary day with just being messy me, showing up as me ~ the light of divinity mirroring the same in YOU! Free from needing to be anything more. My latest song is on the site Blog page, Be Free. As I root in the call of prayer (James Dillet Freeman) and the sense of what free is for me, I allow this moment’s April alchemy to be enough. Just right. As is. Divine perfection expertly evolving through transformation. That is a celebration! Thanks for being with me and your own divine alchemy. Namaste, Love!

Being The Dream!

Namaste Divine Dreamers! I greet you this Thoughtful Thursday in a place of peaceful balance as I allow priorities to inform my actions and disallow the sense of overwhelm and not enoughness I know too well as informant. You could say I am employing Unity tools of affirmation and denial to bring me into harmony along with a whole host of other tools from my Transformational Toolbox!

So! I return where I left off here on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Monday, drawing from a talk I gave wherein we explored Unity principles, which again, I must say are universal principles! We looked at ourselves as divine dream of the One Presence (principle #1) and spent time being with ourselves as divinity:

In the infinity of divinity and beauty created on this planet; magnificent life forms as tall as mighty majestic mountains and as small as miniscule mushroom mitochondria supporting all of life, so are we created with this same magnificence. Look at your hand or any part of your beautiful body now and see the wondrous Love you are created of. Be with your body, any part of it or all of it and feel yourself as this Love you are created of here and now ~ experience your body with Love, appreciation and celebration! Let’s sing it!

I Am! The acknowledgment and affirmation that we are Spirit, The metaphysical meaning of I AM denotes our oneness with Source. Created in Love, we are this Love and goodness expressed as stated in Unity principle #2, I am good, we are good, made in the likeness of our Creator, each of us embodies divinity. Sometimes or perhaps often times, in the wake of distraction and forgetfulness, we don’t see our divinity and beauty. We may not even see it in the beauty that always surrounds us; in our loved ones, spouses, children, parents, pets; in our food sitting on dishes crafted for us and our nourishment, beauty smiling at us from the tree outside our window, or from clouds in the sky or the colors there that begin and end each day. Beauty and goodness is indeed all around us and inside us even if and when we forget to notice it. All too often, we take beauty, divinity, creativity for granted! We forget who we are and where we are; beautiful divine miracles able to co-create our reality, co-create our dreams and callings into reality on this multifaceted dreamscape of beauty and abundance where we live. Even those of us on a conscious path are only aware of so much. Generally we take (too) much for granted, we don’t think too much about the very essence of life that animates our bodies ~ the breath! Our breath keeps our bodies alive of course yet it is also one of our greatest transformational tools! We all know to take a deep breath to calm down and many of us have practiced different breathing patterns in yoga and other teachings. Let’s center now with our breath as we breathe in the goodness and beauty of who we truly be. With or without this song, breathe deep now into the essence of the beautiful dream you are created of.

an you see yourself in the mirror of your mind with only eyes of unconditional Love and appreciation? Deepen into that appreciation and awareness of the beauty of your body temple, your spirit home; keep breathing beauty down deep in your depths, breathe your truth, you are a blessed breath. While the busy distractions of the world may call us away, we can always take a mindful moment to breathe (our) beauty. No matter where we are and what’s going on, we can always take a beautiful breath, a deep breath of our beautiful depths.

Unity principle # 3 says that we co-create our reality with our thoughts. Thoughts held in mind produce after their kind. This includes all we feel and believe. This can be the place where our dreams give way to a different “reality”; the one that surrounds us rather than the one inside us. When we think about the life we dream of, do we know it as possible or do we make alterations based on what others or society may say is not easy at best and impossible at worst. We know that impossible is also ‘I’m possible’ with the Spirit I Am of our being if we so choose it. Still most folks I know including me have dreams that are subject to a long list of compromises. Many dreams become ‘rationalized away’, some dreams are completely forgotten. Can you recall a forgotten dream now?

From the song When Dreams Die Â©1994 Laurie Story V
Where do dreams go when they die?
Do they live in salty tears that dreamers cry?
Or do they float to a home where hope can make them fly?
When dreams die, where do they go? Does anybody know?
Since I wrote that so many years ago, I have come to know there are many, many places dreams can go including into the divine order of alchemy and sometimes better, bigger dreams. If we live long enough, there’s usually at least 1 pretty big, aha, ‘ glad I didn’t get that’job, person, house, whatever, that you once thought was so perfect! And there is also the aforementioned dreams that we never realize due to arguing for our limitations. Just as we can forget or divinity, we can diminish our powerful creativity to create our dreams and visions. We are created out of Love AS Love to express Love! Acting on our dreams is a way we express the Love we are made of. Consciously, unconsciously, with divine grace, we are indeed the cocreators of our lives including how and if we manifest our dreams. Unity principle #4 says that we use cocreation manifestation tools like affirmative prayer and meditation.

Through spiritual practices, we do stay anchored in source and centered in our truth of beauty and goodness. We can use affirmations and denials. I love using the word CHOOSE to help me align with these tools and keep the words, intentions and vibrations positive, especially when I am needing to transition from a negative or low place like feeling lonely or unsupported, “I choose to know that I am not alone. I choose to know I am surrounded by Spirit and that I am loved and supported. “ In these positive denials and appreciative affirmations, I usually shift my feeling and vibration quickly. Words are so powerful! Along with prayer, meditation, denial, and affirmation, there are so, so many transformational tools like the breath and visualization, all of which help raise our vibrations of Love and Peace and goodness. We know that raising our own vibration also raises the whole planet’s energy and can even help those who are suffering next door or around the world! The vibration conversation is, of course, an important one in our evolution! In the wake of this moment’s unification conversation, we take note of how embodying our divinity does indeed ripple out to the world. Which brings us to the 5th and final Unity principle:

With this, we return to the truth of our beautiful breath selves and living our dreams. We remember to be anchored in Source, to breathe our beauty, to dream, to use our transformational tools to align with the shine of our divine design, to be and live the truth of the dream we were birthed to be.

No matter where we are planted and who we are with, we can and will keep listening and trusting our own divinity and creativity, unified with Source and our divine essence. We choose to stay anchored in this omnipresent, ever present presence, breathing our beauty, living from this place, able to reset into our beautiful depths in any moment. We can, will, do, use our transformational tools to know our dreams and live them. Aligned with Source and highest good, we raise our vibrations and send this blessing out to raise the consciousness of humanity. Together, we dream and we rise, living the dream of the Love we are created of. And so it is!

PS
I am sharing the dream in Leaping Literacy Library with a spotlight on Panda this week! The gentle giant is a beautiful breath of beauty gracing the planet for the last 8 million years! Once a carnivore, now Panda only eats bamboo and reminds us to sit peacefully and chew on our blessings! Namaste, Love!

Living The Dream!

Namaste Dreamers and Peacemakers!
Greetings on this holy day holiday celebrating the great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.!
Let us listen to his melodic voice from his “I Have A Dream” speech as well as some song inspirations in this ETV segment playing in our Leaping Literacy Library ETV:

Here are lyrics from another one of our songs honoring Dr. King:

I gave a talk yesterday at the Unity Spiritual Community, Citrus Heights touching on Dr. King and inspirational others yet mostly focused on each of us as divine creation, breathing in the beauty we truly be. Today I will share a few points and power point slides from the talk as well as lessons learned DOing the talk!

The usual custom these days is to have a video recording of the talk yet apparently the FaceBook live stream ended up being a Zoom view of one of the participants rather than us so it was deleted. I am still hoping to at least hear an audio of it.
(1/18 Update! For any on FaceBook, the talk I speak of in this post did post there!)

Yet! Herein lies so many more spiritual lessons! I will leave it at 3:
1. Trust the divine order of ALL, paying attention to what the ALL might be saying at any given time! The main trick in doing this with an appreciation celebration is to release expectation of how things “should” be rooted in the knowing that it is ALWAYS for the highest if we let it be. And! Knowing we are always flowing with what we allow and can ALWAYS keep choosing what we allow!

2. There were several people yesterday both live and on Zoom who expressed their gratitude and blessings from hearing my musical talk. Their heart felt kindness expressed, reverberates in me especially if a wondering of, “How was that?” creeps in. The lesson here is, it is ALWAYS great to express your appreciation of another!

3. Back to divine order paired with discernment. I spent a lot of time and energy on doing the talk experience and it was a wonderful one in so many ways. Yet! It necessarily means other important projects in my world were put on hold. My ongoing sorting of prioritizing my callings is SO present and real ~ AlWAYS!

In the same way I talked at other churches and performed in schools and libraries for so many years with no video or audio records, I get to sit with what the experience was. I think the biggest thing I “messed up” was showing my power point slides in the right places 🙂 and I was guided to print them into my paper copy of the talk and just got too tired and outa time to do it! It was a small thing while I mastered a big thing by delivering the talk, mediation and songs pretty darn close to the prescribed time. No small feat for me! Though of course, I was working with all things possible, divine flow Source. I could ‘improve’ my presentation by not talking about these ‘flubs’ during the talk yet that’s me, always my heart on my sleeve. And perhaps it makes me and the whole thing more real ~ there is that crazy thing called reality as a part of living the dream! I loved being able to use the prepared talk to keep me on (timing) track while I left plenty of what was written out and allowed Spirit to say some of those written words and plenty that weren’t actually on paper, as such. A fun flow of divinity, creativity, and functionality!

SO! The spiritual lesson here is to fully allow the goodness of what was and sift that through with trust! Trust your callings and dreams ~ always and in ALL ways!

So! How about sharing a bit of the talk here and now?! I began with a song and meditation to center into Source, to allow “Peace breathing me”.

From this centered place, we began the unification conversation. There were many points from the talk I could make here yet since I have blogged on about the experience of doing it, let’s be with the first part of it and I will return with more over the next few weeks. Among other things, the talk was an overview of the 5 Unity principles, each of which is a talk all their own! As I approach the anniversary of New Thought Families as a .com, this process is great for my discernment and commitments for this space going forward. Leaping Literacy Library spiritual family literacy resources continue on ~ no matter the name! After all, Unity principles are at their heart, universal principles!

Oh yes in the center of the Circle of Life is our ever present, omni present Great Creator! The 1st basic Unity principle is that there is One Presence, One Power, God the Good. We come from this Source, by any name, breathed into existence with this Love of Creation. Could it be that our very lives are born out of our Creator’s dream? The one Presence had a dream of us! The mighty essence of creation had a dream to Love more, express more, BE more Love! To be yes Love expressed AS US! Perhaps at the very heart of what it means to live the dream is to acknowledge that WE ARE the dream! In this way, we can step away from the cynical meme when we say we are ‘Living the Dream’ because we are indeed, in the truest sense living our Creator’s dream of us as Love expressed, divinity expressed, creativity expressed. Which brings us naturally to Unity Principle # 2. Next week!
Namaste beautiful breath of Life expressed!

PS. Here’s some old recordings of the 2 songs I opened and closed the talk with!

September Circles Of Sacredness: Time & Service

I greet you late day this Sacred Sunday in the circle of time! I was, like so many other days and times, called to serve in several places in the circle of lifetime today. I sat down to do this blog and vlog this morning and realized Librarian me had not updated the ETV Vlog page, essentially all year. So I was in service to that! And then did the vlog and then onto my dad’s ranch for some scheduled service there. I will return there tomorrow morning and I have returned here to the blog in this right now, divine timing moment. I have re-committed to being in service here each Sacred Sunday this September. I am in service to the One that calls me here, in the oneness of the circle’s sacredness. There are so many ways to serve!

What does being in service mean to you? Service to yourself, family, community, in what ways do you serve? And in what ways are you served?! Wherever we place our hands, hearts, time, attention can be said to be what we are in service of. The blessings of our lives can be said to be the way that life and Love serves us.
Thank you for being here, in service to this moment of circle connection.

While our society frames our lives in a linear fashion, we are created and do indeed live in the circle. We will be exploring different faces of the circle this September beginning with the circles of time and money. Here are the lyrics and MP3 (download!) of the Circle of Time song found on my Circle Of One CD. Jeremiah and I are singing and drumming it with some extra drumbeats added by our CD producer Cameron Lawson.

Circle Of Time Mp3 Song!
© 2008 Laurie Story Vela

Standing on the mountaintop,
in the circle of time
heartbeats of my ancestors
are beating with mine
& the heartbeats of the children
who will be here soon
We are all one heartbeat
in the Sacred Mother’s womb

In the heartbeat of the circle,
oneness is the call
Heartbeats now and heartbeats then
beat with one and all
Here in the circle,
the sacred circle of time
There is just one heartbeat
beating with mine

One heartbeat, One circle, One time
One heartbeat, One circle, One time
The sacred circle of time
There is just one heartbeat
Standing on the mountaintop

Yes, oneness lives in the circle, We are at one with all of our lifetime(s), when we view it from the circle of time. As the song sings, we are home and at one with all our relations and generations with the one heartbeat. I sing some of this song in this week’s vlog centered on service in the circle.

The vlog altar is filled with mermaids and seahorses in celebration of the final (for now!) and 7th show in the Sea Splash series of ETV shows that began last summer! It was a big birthing process in August to complete the series with the Whale Wonders Show followed by this one which included the 2 Laurie’s StorEbooks I spoke of in last week’s Mermaid vlog. Sometimes, what we consider going backwards, is really just bringing some aspect of the circle into more completion!

This Labor Day weekend is a great time to think about work and how we trade our time for money. Yes, we do need money in this society yet the work we do is so much about being in the circle of giving and receiving energy on many levels, money being just one aspect. My playmate, Rev Karene, aka Gramma K, enJOYs our time co-creating for ETV as does her hubby, covered in the picture below as he is voicing Wally, the pet walrus of the Sea Queen. Can elders play pretend? YES, it is fun for them! We all have an inner child who is not only willing to play but needs to play for our whole being health and vitality. We are ageless in the circle. Laughter and play have no age or time limit. We can always benefit from a good laugh or playtime in any way that makes our heart sing and feel alive! How do you like to play? What is fun for you? What makes you laugh? Can you give some time into being of service to that?!

Here I am playing with Feature Creature Teacher Seahorse who has AHmazing adaptations and life lessons!

There are many Seahorse takeaways from how slow they are & how they anchor to how they mate and do a connecting Love dance each morning. And YES, Seahorse is the only animal on the planet whereby the male/dad carries the babies (pregnant) and births them. We can be heartened by Seahorse to stay anchored in Love, go slow, at the pace of grace, focusing on our abilities and gifts vs. the challenges we all face. What gifts do you have that fuel your service in this life?

While I have a lifetime journey with working in service in return for little or no monetary pay, I am on purpose and in joy in serving these callings of my heart and soul. I am anchored in safe home and in Love! And! All is well, Spirit always has my back with wonderful home and a belly full of good food! I can and do choose to focus on my good! I am so blessed in Love!

If you so choose, to be in service to you, take some time to be with your gifts and/or some contemplative time to see who and what you serve and who and what serves you!

Thank you for being in the circle with me ~ I do consider we are in service to one another just by saying yes in this sacred moment!

And thank you for sharing some of my life’s work here, irrespective of your choice to spend time further with ETV and my playful co-creations undersea!

More September sacred circle awareness moments to come. Namaste, Love!

Shining Through The Darkness

Namaste Shining Summertime Friend of Intention!

In this week before Solstice, we have had a June to swoon weather wise, unseasonably and utterly delightfully cool. Which makes for a great space in my upstairs of the barn. I have been creating playful, sacred space there and all over the playhouse for the longest time yet definitely renewed of late as I have once again become mobile after the winter/spring of healing off my feet.

As I have been healing and recalibrating into my future, there has been a lot of dancing with grief and release, listening with compassion to the places of darkness and depression. I have been leaning into the intentions to bring all my online content (back) into fruition and it has definitely been a getting ready to be ready to be ready! Ever called to shine through the darkness!

I sing about shining through the darkness on the blog space @ New Thought Families.

Darkness can show up in SO many ways to get in the way or light the way ~
or both ~ as we journey through the duality of life. When we stumble on our journey in doing what is ours to do, it is ALWAYS an invitation to love ourselves through the insistence of resistance, no matter how persistent! We are, indeed, created of a light stronger and brighter than any darkness!

Messy me is in celebration of opening up 4 summer camp invitations even though the manifestations were short of the vision and behind in the timing. I am ever aligning knowing the bigger picture of the constant invitation to keep divining! Here’s yesterday’s vlog speaking to that process and inviting you to show up for whatever is calling you, found @ New Thought Families! Irrespective of you sharing the vlog conversation, I do issue you an ongoing invitation or at least a meditation to show up for whatever calls to you, especially if it is something that continues to knock at your door! Show up messy, late ~ incomplete ~ show up any way you have to! When you show up for what calls you, you shine your light brightly through any darkness that would diminish you or your calling! As my new song sings, we are created of a light way to powerful to hide in the darkness. Shine the divine design of your radiant goodness!

And YES! I do invite you into the online camps with the intention of continuing to clean up, level up, and dare I say, continue to perfect the celebrations and invitations coming your way throughout this summer of divine shine!
May we all continue to align and shine! Namaste, Love!Summer FUNdamentals!Summer FUNdamentals!Summer FUNdamentals!Summer FUNdamentals!

Join us on the Free Shelf of Leaping Literacy Library for participation in these invitations. Yippee skippee for Leaping Literacy and to be soul play free!

Rebirth & Renewal

Namaste Beautiful Beings of Sacred Awareness!

I hope you are finding your centered place of yes blessedness in the midst of the chaos we collectively face. Times of breakdown are portals into breakthroughs, woo hoo! And there can be a lot of pain along the way in this human journey. Yet! Spirit is always here to Love us through, inviting us to release resistance and to embrace the new. In keeping with these callings, this blog has moved to our new commercial free space; the branch of Leaping Literacy Library called Creative Family Literacy. We have new and developing Invitations and Celebrations there supporting you and yours for Traditional, Creative, and Spiritual Family Literacy. I hope to see you there in this new start and I wish you all the best in living true to you, following the wisdom of your heart! Namaste, Love!

Telling The Truth

TruthNamaste Truth Tellers!
Ah, truth. It sometimes seems a scarce commodity these days at least politically and culturally speaking. I am often ~ still! ~ shocked at how different the truth is for people in our polarized nation. When contemplating truth, it’s hard not to think about fake news and the huge discrepancies in our national divide. Like all else, there are many ways to think about truth. As spiritual beings, our truth resides in our core; most easily experienced in the stillness and oneness of prayer and meditation. Being in that receptive and flowing mode is the journey of a lifetime, or perhaps, many lifetimes.

“Discovering the truth about ourselves is a lifetime’s work, but it’s worth the effort.”
~ Fred Rogers

Telling the truth begins with ourselves. The truth we can see, accept, act upon, can vary at any given stage of life. It can be said that in challenging times like (Covid) 2020, we come back home to ourselves, to the truth of who we are.

Who we were and what we loved as a child is a still present gift to us at any age. This alignment with childhood joys and passions, is a helpful and truthful look into who we are.

What we say can be the truth. When we speak up for truth and justice, that is another way of telling the truth as we see it although I have found all too often the words I speak in this arena ‘fall on deaf ears’ dating all the way back to my childhood heated interactions with my bigoted father.

Words are powerful. Facts do exist and certainly matter. Yet, ultimately the best truth telling we can do is to live our truth every day in everyday ways. My truth is that I continue to over produce and under communicate to those who could be best served by the work. I am doing 2+ ETV shows a week this month which is ALOT. YET! I feel on purpose and grateful to be showing up as a disciple to the work. AND! In keeping with the beckoning balance of the season, I may well need to adjust and scale back the production schedule. When I think of working so hard for no money and few to no views, I KNOW I must be completely crazy. When I think of producing long time visions and alchemizations of my prolific work, I KNOW a rousing zealous YESSSSSSSSSSS from the depth of my soul! I KNOW there are children and families I am here to serve with this spiritual literacy work so I will keep showing up and living my truth as well as the inner work to allow and receive ease and grace in all phases of this gift! Last Sunday’s Om HomETV show is Live The Truth and it is here:

This show has much truth telling and living! My Jeremiah sings with me and I honor his request not to introduce him. I often have to adjust from our old way of being to honor who he is now. Such are relationships ~ especially parent to grown child! Honoring others, is of course a huge way we can live truth for ourselves and each other. I was blessed this morning with a Zoom interview surprise for this Sunday’s special Rosh HaShanah celebration. I love speaking to the interfaith ways of being in our Sacred Sunday Celebrations! You can view all of our growing list of September shows at familyliteracy.tv

My continued prayer for all of us is that we can increasingly live the truth of the loving essence we are made of. May you be blessed in continuing to shine loving expressions of your light, your Love, your BEing. Namaste, Love!

Trusting Transformation

Namaste this Unity World Day Of Prayer, Thoughtful Thursday!

In keeping with Unity’s ‘Standing In Truth, I Move From Fear To Faith’ and our Creative Spirit Families’ September Circles, I offer this prayer:

Holy Divine Presence, Creator of all there is,
We center in Your light, Your Love,
Your goodness, Your gooness, Your isness.
Like the caterpillar in the chrysalis
We pray to know the good in the goo.
From the chaos, confusion, dissolving illusions,
We breathe in the truth of Life’s Lovelight of goodness.
We breathe out the messiness of transformation’s gooness.
We breathe in trust of divine order always and in all ways.
We breathe out the fear, the doubt, the pain of all in the circle.
Connected with all there ever was, is, will be,
Faith fills our feet as we stand in truth.
We affirm our isness now. We are. I am.

Deep in the breath of the great I Am
is the breadth of all that is. Isness.
Divine essence in and though us circling this world now.
We trust the sun and moon to rise and set.
We trust humanity to awaken and not forget.
We trust the goodness in the gooness,
Freedom’s flight from silent chrysalis.
We trust the truth of who we be, created as One I Am, are we.
Trusting transformation, in faith filled fullness,
we embody Your great Isness.
Aho!

Below is our latest Leaping Literacy Library ETV, Circle Of Life, in our continued celebrations. The show has special segments honoring grandparents! Grandparent’s Day is this Sunday,9/13, and we will be here with another OM HomETV sacred celebration.  I continue to trust the we that is here to share these co-creation celebrations. May you be filled with faith as you stand in truth, fortified with trusting thoughts in life’s circle of  beautiful lovelight. Namaste Love!

Woo Hoo! It’s New!

Transformation Celebration!

Our first Sacred Sunday OM HomETV is HERE! Our Leaping Literacy Library ETV show debuted March 8th, International Women’s Day and they are going weekly starting September 8th, Transformational Tuesdays! Our ETV shows definitely include heart literacy. Yet! The strong call to share prayer and interfaith connections has persisted. Though I have resisted, Spirit has insisted so here it is. Ta da! Highlighting the spiritual principle of transformation, prayer is at the center of this offering for families and young hearted praying folk of all ages! Unity has their World Day of Prayer this Thursday and we give mention to that as well as a few other interfaith celebrations happening this week ~ as reported on our Interfaith Inspirations at New Thought Families. As our Sunday celebrations unfold, our intention is to expand the interfaith segments with knowledgeable guests. It is my prayer that this offering may find those families and youth who it has been co-created for ~ those open to having Spirit conversations and celebrations ~ with transformation! Yippee Skippee! EnJOY! Namaste, Love!

Transformations Through Transgressions

Stand Together For HumanityNamaste Holy Heart of Humanity!
I greet you in the name of divine order right timing after a summer away from this sacred space. It has been a summer of surrender and creative birthing in the midst of 2020’s turbulence and suffering. Like you, my heart aches for social justice and for the pain of so many adversely affected by humanity’s insanity, the global pandemic, political lies and division, and the ongoing health crisis’ of our Mother Earth. It has been a smokey three weeks here in California as a reminder of beloved redwood forests and homes still burning. It has been another season of elder care for my dying parents with such strong Spirits somehow sustaining their failing bodies. It has been six months of my Jeremiah living back home and once again preparing to fly off for his third year of college, living just off campus with his buddies as planned last February in their signed lease. It has been a summer of seeing the power of small wonders. It is now another September of softening sun, equinox balance, and seasonal release. Centered in grateful oneness with all of this and more, I anchor in sacred remembrance with you now in this miraculous moment. Seeing Through Eyes Of ReverenceAs Tolle and other spiritual teachers speak of, there really is peace in this still moment. The ability to see life with reverence is a transformational tool that brings us into the present moment, into our grateful, wondrous heart, and away from, or at least a step removed, from the constant overwhelm, exhaustion, and dramatic suffering all around and perhaps inside us. In peaceful Presence, we are able to more readily forgive and accept the transgressions of ourselves and others. Remembering that the word sin means to miss the mark, and that all things can be viewed as on purpose ~ even ‘mistakes’ ~ we can forgive and accept, even the transgressions that appall us most. Life is full of transformation, always, and in all ways. 2020 has given us a powerful dose of unprecedented change that has left so many in deep pain. And so we pray for their comfort and resolutions; we pray for peace and for perspective. We pray, with feet on the ground and in motion, for justice and sustainable change for the most vulnerable among us who are hardest hit. We prayerfully align with what ours to do with the visionary spotlight of 2020. 2020 Vision
And so it is that I offer you now the latest and upcoming invitations from all that is mine to co-create for children and families, for holy humanity. At New Thought Families, we continue our daily resource for remembrance; the daily Play & Pray Calendar where we are revisiting our year long calendar, For Humanity. Today is the 247th day of 2020 and your playful invite is to wrap yourself in rainbows! As reported last spring, our biggest creative adventure is Leaping Literacy ETV web shows that will be coming weekly this September! And! After saying ‘no’ to Spirit all summer (never a good idea!), this Sunday, we begin our weekly OmHomETV. These Spirit centered weeklies are playful, prayerful offerings to build spiritual family literacy for families and (inner) children of all ages!
In keeping with stepping more fully into the spiritual family literacy work of New Thought Families, I will be here on Thoughtful Thursdays to help re-anchor our weekly spiritual practices. It is not lost on me that my own special brand of humanity insanity is to create (so much!) content and seemingly have not have any who participate. So! I begin again with renewed discipline ~ discipleship ~ to consistently show up and invite any and all who are called to spiritually play and prayerfully practice.

Family Literacy TV
Our hindsight process of sifting through literally decades of content production is an ongoing process to produce purposefully with clear vision; a life’s work that goes on and on! Our Transformational Summer’s Reverent Reverie of Resources remains on our Leaping Literacy Library Free Shelf through Labor Day, 9/7. Join us there! You can also just visit our family literacy tv page directly:  https://familyliteracy.tv/
Now! Jeremiah and I are headed back to the studio today to finish the next CD, Circle Of One! The young and talented engineer, Cameron Lawson who recorded our last 2 CDs, We Are Called and Timeless Spirit is doing this one too. What began last fall with the ‘leftover’ songs from We Are Called is finally being finished. No transgressions, just divine order transformations!

As for you, my holy hearted friend, I hope whatever you are going through is something you can ultimately be lifted up by, like the phoenix rising from these ashes of alchemy. The feelings of despair are real and should be honored yet I believe we can keep inviting in new, higher energies to repair and help us release into our highest expressions of all the possibilities that live inside us and all around us. This transformation is indeed the biggest of our lifetimes yet we are wholly supported by the holy heart that created us. May you reverently remember the sacredness of who you are and all that is as we rise from any notion of transgression into inspirational motion of transformation. Thank you for being here at this revolutionary time of reflection and resurrection. Rise and fly! Namaste, Love!
