Always Love

Here it is … the official birth of the New Thought Families Blog … coming into the world as an act of Love and a cry for Love! For as with any birth, there were a few pains getting here but it was the force of  Love that breathed life into the process. Life is Love & Love is life! Always Love. Ernest Holmes said, “Everything is either an act of love or a cry for love.” That is undeniable truth that is still so often lost in our daily dealings with each other even, and sometimes especially, in the hearts & harbors of our homes. When tempers flare in our home, 10 year old Jeremiah and I are pretty good about reminding each other to stay or to get back into our hearts. We often remember and when we don’t, it isn’t too long before we do. That’s simply because we’ve been practicing  for lots of years and because we start & end our days with prayer. Always Love.

I often pray to be Love in action. Most days this just means small yes’ to Love’s constant call throughout the day. I’m learning to apply this concept to the big projects in my life like New Thought Families. We launched as a .com four years ago today! On 02/07/2007, New Thought Families went live! Happy Anniversary to us! It took so much Love to let go of the perfectionist part of me that wanted it to be something so much more than what it was. That’s still the case today but to a much lesser degree as Love has softened my heart and allowed much more acceptance. Akin to the way we love our child’s artwork no matter what ‘it’s supposed to be’. Always Love.

Love is indeed patient & kind. Through Love, all things are possible. And through listening to the cry for Love within me, I have acted in Love to grow the website which now has hundreds if not thousands of pages. Just one page at a time … Always Love. The calling to co-create is as strong now as it was four years ago. In the Feb 2007 newsletter, we stated this about the site, “The purpose is to help celebrate and grow the essence of Source with special attention to families and children of all ages and faiths. The site is launching very much a seed with the potential of becoming a glorious garden.” Today, we sprinkle some of those seeds here in the wonderful world of Word Press. If you are here reading these flower seeds, thank you, and may they take root in your own heart’s garden nurturing your yes’ to bloom! Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “God laughs in flowers”. Yay! Let’s laugh & play! I’m passing out roses today ~ to all of us! Welcome, Love! Always Love.

  1. Hi Lauri,

Thanks for the clarification…I am so glad I didn’t miss out on beginnings of your blog (I missed that in your earlier message on FB). Your songs are wonderful. Thanks for the loving smiles and warm feelings down to my toes.
